I won't believe it until AU says that he'll sit or Trotter runs on for the first possession. As long as AU has been standing by their investigation and Cam is a great guy BS they will get the NCAA banhammer before they sit him.
I find it very hard to believe that Auburn would do that this late in the season. It doesnt get them anything to sit him now. Might as well run the mule to term and let everything play out.

That seems a little farfetched to me, because if Auburn isn't making the decision, the feds are about the only people I know who would have balls big enough to step in and say Auburn couldn't play him. Could be the NCAA telling them, but that seems pretty unethical to give Auburn a heads up they may want to back off on playing him because they are about to expose them for cheating.
Couldall thisbe the SEC trying to save face after the fact they were caught not investigating this further?
They will just play dumb to the whole situaiton and say "this is all new information to us, so we must do the right thing and sit him".
I would not doubt if they lose to UGA either way. Cam and the Auburn coaches have not slept all week.
If this does end up being really bad for Auburn, it will be because they cheated, and because the SEC sat on this for a long time and did nothing. In turn, if Auburn had known it would end badly for them back during the summer, they could have ridden Caudle to the Birmingham Bowl and saved face and looked like a media darling for not playing the kid that wantedmoneyfrom them to play.
