only 6 TD's this week. Last week they beat the defending NJCAA national champs. Big SOB would look good in maroon and white.

that would make a difference for us, I can't help but think that olemiss would make sure they got their QB. We've got to figure out a way to step it up when it comes to marking our big target and making sure that we get them. And don't tell me a few wins will make a difference.

that he is our No. 1 target. Do we get him? Who knows. The thing that discourages me is that any decent QB could come to State and start in no time, while olemiss constantly has one when they need one. And pretty highly touted ones as well. Lately at least. Bottom line is olemiss goes that extra mile, we don't seem to.

Ole Miss has been in the same shape we have been since Eli. They lucked up and got Sneed due to Colt McCoy. I do agree, if we had a really good QB in our good years we would have been unstopable.

True, Snead is really the only one to pan out (which is not unusual with QBs). But, they have signed Robert Lane (parade AA)who sucked and moved to TE, Schaefer (juco AA) who sucked but was highly touted, and then get Snead to transfer to them. All of these highly sought after QBs. Yeah, that is only three, but eli hasn't been gone that long.

Those days are long gone. Not saying we'll sign every or any QB we go after, but going the extra mile won't be a problem as long as Mullen is here. Case in point, Brunetti. Commits to W.Va. but Mullen continues to recruit him like he's wide open. He was one to get a call at midnight on Sept. 1 as well.
