One is comparable to the gay brother from Wedding Crashers and the other is your typical Ole Miss jackass.
I can't disagree with that.
Again, I think Ward 4 could do better. And I think that better person could be a student but the two running are less inspiring than the incumbent.

On another note why is it always Ward 4 where the students continually beat each other up in an election. I know there's a heavy student population but what about Ward 2. There are enough students there to win. That is the Ward that could give us Sunday Sales if students would vote. The same could be said for Ward 1 and possibly Ward 3. But students must VOTE.

Truthfully, the mayoral position is not all that important this election. None of the three real candidates are that great, and none are terrible. It is the alderman positions that are most important this time around. I hope you are thinking clearly on that one.
We have a weak mayor - strong council form of govt. It would be nice to have a great mayor, but it would still be the aldermen that run the city.

...who wont vote for someone BECAUSE they are property owners. It is a dumb argument. I personally want swomeone who HAS a vested intrest in the town. ****, do you think they would do anything to harm the town? . I like Dan because he is the best man for the job./ Period. Now go blow Wiseman. He is standing in front of the annex waving a sign.</p>

RW, when you post as StarkvilleNow that is who I think you are. Glad you liked the picture of Cox voting over and over and over ..... Looks like he did vote a number of times since he is up in the lame poll. Did he lie to you too? Is that why you are laughing at him now? Swinging your one vote over to Dan the Man?

did the same thing. Had a lot of property downtown and in his first term - took out a $17 million dollar bond to spruce up downtown and other projects around the city. He has done a great job but there is definitely a conflict of interest.

DIDNT do the bond issue? No. Everyone beneffitted from his move. Not just him. That is my stance. Who cares if he/she benefits? As long as everyone else does too. Where is the conflict? Not one.

and if I lived in Vicksburg, I would have been for it. I am just saying there was a conflict of interest because he had a number of properties downtown.
