Looking at their roster and stats... this is a pretty experienced team. Lots of upperclassman on the roster. You obviously have to take competition into play when you look at stats but just stats alone, Campbell looks a little more impressive than VCU.

They got this one kid Zach Neto they has a .414 batting average and a .752 slugging percentage. 10 home runs and 55 RBIs. He’s also thrown 21 innings with a 3.43 ERA. He’s a freshman short stop.

Maybe Lemonis should recruit this kid this weekend**

The fact that they are an at-large team says a lot to me. They aren’t just some fluky mid major that got hot in their league tourney, they had a good enough season to safely make the field without an auto bid.

There is so much about this Regional that reminds me of 2013. There are a ton of similarities between South Alabama/Mercer/Central Arkansas from that year’s Regional and our three opponents this year.
