Can anyone provide some insight? Baseball

I see the likes of Coghlan emerging for the Marlins and Seth Smith having a larger role in Colorado. My question is this: Are any of our former Bulldogs making any moves in the minor leagues? It is a seemingly hard thing to track. Google searches are sometimes worthless for names (not all the time). So, unless you know where a player is, it can be hard. Even then, you only know what his stats look like; not whether or not they're gaining consideration.

Any insight?

Mitch is doing well in the Texans system and the Marlins think highly of Brandon Turner as a replacement at 2B when Uggla becomes too expensive. That's all I've got.

most people's profile on the Baseball Cube site will come up and show you where they have been, where they are, and all the stats.

The ironic thing is bianco has 3 position players in the bigs despite being known as a pitching guru. State, on the other hand, has 3 pitchers in the bigs that pitched at MSU during Bianco's time at OM.

that Craig Tatum may get called up at the end of the year, if nothing else because of the fact that he's a catcher.

Ed Easley is struggling offensively at A ball.

Aaron Weatherford is in rookie ball, it looks like he had an unjury or something, but is now back playing again.

Mitch Moreland is tearing it up. The Rangers may even give him a long look at coming up to the Big Leagues in Sept, but odds are that it will be another year or two before he gets the call.

Turner is doing well, as others have mentioned. He's probably at least 2-3 years away from getting called up.

I think those five players are the best prospects to make the Big Leagues of all the former MSU players at this time.

What I wish you could do is search by college. That would solve all problems

has a good search tool that I use. All you have to do is type in the player's last name and it will pull him right up with stats.
