I think they're gonna run the table. Freeze is clearly better than saban. Winning at texas much bigger than win at aTm. OM gonna win national championship.***

Dude I'm playing. OM isn't beating bama. Bama is gonna give OM a dose of reality. OM is gonna get bama's full attention Saturday. Saban will give them a "we believe" type beating sat.

They have beaten Vandy, SEMO, and Texas team in shambles.

No doubt they are alot better than we are. Probably a mid teens ranked team.

I think they'll slip up on somebody but Bama would not be my first guess. I don't think they can outscore Bama and A&M. LSU is a possibility.

They may go 10-2 though. 9-3 is likely.

All this assumes a healthy Wallace.

Still, the thought gives me the cold sweats. OM in the National Championship? BARF. Don't play like that...

Yes... they could... mobilish QB... great WRs.

If UM had a bigger RB, and their D improves... they could be the "trap" game for Bama...

Bama's 2ndary is strugglin'...

If Ole Miss will stop imploding in the 2nd quarter, I think we could make it a game for a while but I see Bama winning by no less than 10. Ole Miss' interior is nothing without Issac Gross and while we have a week off, his groin is really bothering him. Don't see us stopping McCarron. Your secondary might be struggling but ours is non-existent.

I'll start to believe we can do it if we are somehow within a TD at halftime. Our coaching staff has been successful at 2nd half adjustments, especially defensively.

You're full of ****.

But since you asked, I went to bama before I transferred to state, tusk. Cotton industry and all.

Do you really think ole miss has better athletes than A&M? Really?

You've lost your 17 mind.

Ole miss is a good team. In spots.

You just got your greatest challenge until Lsu and then the national title game.

You got one Mississippi boy on your team that plays a major role.

My hometown. You'll be fine.

Better get a lot. Wallace can't outrun bama lb's and they won't have to rush Wallace cautiously. Bama won't be challenged again till lsu

10 won't get em.... Bama can match any "reasonable" number UT offers... also, he's 61.... oh, and Mrs. Terry "loves Tuscaloosa"...

Well he would have a chance to win titles at 3 different schools which hasn't been done. Plus he wouldn't have to face freeze. Seems he's the big boy on the block now. **

I bet she love smoney more. If I were Texas I'd keep ratcheting up the offer until Bama bowed out.

Not sure where that is. I think you would get the thoughts from Bama that it's them and not Saban so much...that they can do it without him, etc...so they'd give in eventually and rationalize. Regardless...Texas can outspend them. Texas needs to see themselves like the Yankees...just buy him...done and done.

I agree on all points... I think that number would be have to be about 12-15M. Not sure UT would offer that... Jerry might, though.

You are probably right, that they wouldn't offer that much, but they should.

You'd also have a good sale to Saban...

1) Win NC at 3 schools
2) Kill SEC dominance
3) Change narrative from "SEC rea" to "Saban Era".

Compelling case. It's a lot of $$ though.

true, however....

wouldn't winning 7 at Bama and outdoing Tha Bahr be even more impressive?

The "Saban Era" is the crucial point here. Saban has built his empire to the point that recruiting is no problem for his program. If he were to move to UT he'd have first-pick of any athlete in TX, LA, AR, and OK...basically the entire WORLD. That said, LSU, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Baylor, TCU, you name it, all suffer because players want to play for Saban and get a ring on their finger. And playing in that conference, rather than the SEC, would be a cake-walk by comparison. Not a bad way to retire for the guy, winning a NC at yet another school with relative ease, and getting paid handsomely to do it.

If UT has any gumption whatsoever they're talking to Saban at this very moment.

Well I thought it would be but he'll get another one this year. aTm needs to change to an lsu/bama type of attack when JM leaves to win on a championship level. I don't think a potential powerhouse should play offensive football. They should be defensive minded and control teams by running. aTm has the money and recruiting base to do it, but I don't know if they will

agreed... especially with UT being so horrible, A&M is sitting on a gold mine, right now... they really need to cash in while they are hot...

And I think urban Meyer is your biggest threat, but not this year. Next year they play at elite level.

Our freshmen are Bama quality looking right now. However there are like 75 other players on the team. I did see Herbstreit say your players said Ole Miss was the most surprisingly tough team they played all year. That said, we could see something similar to today (without the comeback). Play well for a while until your talent and depth overwhelm us. Is a win possible? Sure, if you play like absolute **** and we play awesome and Bo doesn't just toss the ball on the ground again. But it's like a 2% chance.

Please... No good (or great, in Bama's case) SEC team should worry about OSU.

Even with Meyer. He ran away from the competition of our conference... while dominating at Florida. FLORIDA. A monkey should be able to coach the Gators to a NC. That should tell you all you need to know about Urban Meyer.

Add OSU's record against SEC teams on top of that.
