Can, Should, and Will Sidney play in the exhibition games?

Sorry to "self-bump" but since no one had an answer 2 days ago, and today the talk is again Sidney...

Now the question has to be adjusted to assume he has to sit out till later in the season or still a stalemate with the NCAA.

So if he is not officially cleared yet, but not told it was over, what would it mean for the exhibition games?

in exhibition games as they do not count toward wins and losses but I read in one of the recent interviews with Coach Stansbury that he was not going to play him.
