It sounds ridiculous but we are MSU...still, it can't be true.

We should have just kept Croom if we were going to hire Fulmer.

Second, you should hope to God Fulmer would even consider coming to State
Yes, we really want a coach, who goes 5-7 at an elite, with losses to Wyoming, 4-7 UCLA team, and a near loss to Northern Illinois. We should all hope for this...

Im sure no one wants him here either. He has no value plus, I dont think he has much of a will to coach anymore.

Here is the honest to god truth. We can freakin speculate till sunrise and not know what is going through Bryne's head. But what sense would it make to go after Fulmer when there is so much better to be offered? You can see just how low the program has fallen if Phillip Fulmer's name is being thrown around and some people out there think it's a good idea. So don't worry. There is no reason to think MSU will go down that road.

was the mocking of SixPack when O was fired and Nutt was hired and the # of topics concerning that on here. Now that the situation is reversed, NAFOOM is covered with State topics.

that both boards are more alike than either would like to admit.

If you think this is bad, just remember the venom that Goatholder and others unleashed on Nafoom.

that's like comparing a shoplifter to John Gotti or even a better analogy, someone who tells white lies to RebelRichman.

Look at the number of Rebels feverishly getting to their keyboards to say "You'll never get him".

That translates to: "Jesus Christ, I hope they don't get him."

Go screw yourself. You guys know that Byrne isn't going to eff this up, and it makes you nervous.

in regards to the translation part, be advised. We stumbled dumb luck into the Nutt thing. Barring y'all doing the same and end up getting Tubberville, I doubt that Patterson, Peterson, or Kelly is a legit goal. Guys like that turn down the lower level programs from BCS conferences all the time.

Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe Byrne is as good as everyone says he is. But at some point you have to realize that Ole Miss, State, Iowa State, Illinois, Minnesota, Arizona, NC State, Texas Tech, etc. aren't high profile enough jobs to get the hottest head coaches that are proven winners.

We got a retread, albeit a good one, who'd been run off from his de facto alma mater. Y'all got a guy in Sherrill that was on the NCAA hitlist for instance. These sorts and hot coordinators are the people that these types of programs will typically get.

My point is that any criticism is about unrealistic expecatations. Your baseball program is of the highest caliber. Attendance. Tradition. Recruiting possibilities. You got the first guy you picked up the phone and called. Your football program simply is not. Neither is ours. For what it's worth, I'm not throwing stones, because I live in a big ole two story glass house that's been featured in Southern Living.

I would vomit if we hired him. I'm talking in general here. The number of Reb fans scurrying on here to tell us who we have no chance of hiring is hilarious.
