Can someone explain to me why Norwood isn't the featured back?

I mean, all the guy does is produce. When he was a rookie he had to get behind Dunn, which I understood but damn-it he lit it up a lot with limited touches.

Then Petreno leaves, new coaches come in and they bring in some other "stud" RB. Jerious is still the plan B guy.

Why won't he ever be the primary RB?

anywhere. Arthur Blank has said many times that the Falcons would be insane to let him go. Now, if Norwood wants to stay when his contract is up that's a different story. I just hope he stays, he complements Turner so well.

Jerious can have a lot longer career doing exactly what he does right now. Besides, in today's NFL there is no such thing as a feature back. Just about every team plays 2, if not 3 backs every game.

He can make plenty of money to retire on (very comfortably) being the plan B (playing a lot of years).

in a game because to me he deserves the reconition that I don't see him getting.

I think I'm also wanting to see something positive happen that I can somehow associate with MSU. Perhaps that would help me fill in the gapping hole in my "sports jones" until basketball season.
