It's always about money . . .

you don't think a significant portion of their customer base is there because of what CFA 'stands for' and what the company has branded itself as?

Not that I object in the least--other than sometimes selfishly wanting CFA on a Sunday. It's their right to open on whatever days they want. But businesses don't become successful by turning away eager money spenders without a strategy. CFA has found a way to parlay their Christian stances into more customers, and I don't think they are really even trying to pretend otherwise.

Re: It's always about money . . .

So you agree they would make MORE money being open Sunday but they don't open Sunday because of what they stand for but it's ALWAYS about the money oh no I've gone cross eyed.

By they way, it's their food that has made that business lucrative, it just happens to be a Christian run business.
Their product is consumed by more than just Christians.

Re: boy, you can take a stupid position and reach levels of

stupidity that I can't even imagine. You do have a gift only idiots like yourself and a few others on this board have. But then again, maybe there are more out there since so many right-wingers have showed their lack of intelligence on this subject.

Here is a clue. Chick-fil-a being closed on Sundays is not discriminating against anyone. They are closed to the entire population. Not even remotely a reasonable comment. Go read another book on that great WVian, Daniel Boone.

I think they should have all their customers fill out a short survey before they are served. They could ask the following:

1) Are you divorced?

2) Do you smoke or use tobacco products?

3) Do you consume alcohol?

4) Do you swear/use profanity?

5) Do you masturbate?

6) Do you imagine having sex with anyone other than your spouse?

7) Is your spouse the opposite sex?

8) Have you ever known that you should do a good deed and not done it?

9) Do you tithe?

10) Have you ever lied?

11) Have you ever taken anything that was not yours?

12) The list is endless....

And you are more successful than CFA and Hobby Lobby in your business? Different people judge success differently. Money is an element, but there are other measures of success too.

Chill out. I wasn't accusing CFA of being discriminatory. I was making a joke, pointing out the hypocrisy of other establishments refusing to serve a portion of the population.

Not a topic poster, thread view is my friend. Sorry, just quickly glanced and misread the linkage.

Gear down big shifter.

Did CFA bring their faith based **** into the forefront of everyone's consciousness or was it the left having issues with their beliefs and going apeshit about them? I had no idea why they were closed on Sundays until the thing with LGBT community a couple of years ago.

Actually I believe you are the only person on here that I've called a *****. There is a reason for that.

The sad part is that you probably think that you made a good point and a good post. Ignorance.

Wow, you aren't very bright are you? It's all about the money but they choose to be closed on Sundays therefor missing out on making more money. Yeah, that makes a lot of sense genius.

I really can't believe there are people like you out there who are so dumb. It's scary because you get to vote.

Re: keep arguing and eventually . . . .

And you're a perfect example of why I'm glad I'm not a right-winger. And in case you are wondering, if you think I think I'm a victim, you don't know me very well at all. I am pretty pleased with my life, very happy. However, I do stand up for injustices in the world. Shame on me for having convictions and standing up for what I believe. If you don't like that, you probably shouldn't be hanging out on a message board.

Yeah, that's why you made a fool of yourself earlier

by jumping on the guy for saluting Rosa Parks. You look so hard for injustice you have a hard time with interpretations.

HAHAHAHA. He wasn't saluting Rosa Parks. He's the biggest bigot on this board. Look at his track record and look at the context of his post and the other posts he made in the same thread. You aren't the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Momo you shouldn't be posting on a board

If you are not a bleeding heart liberal who will stand up to any comment from a conservative. Shame, shame.

Actually, he was saluting her contribution to the civil rights movement

You have got to learn to read the message as written. It is not necessary to add your slant to what you think is proper. You have got to learn to read if you are going to contribute to the integrity of the board. You have been a mortal failure to this point, but you are a good Christian man who does not judge or bare false witness(hehe).

Look at your own track record

You lend absolutely no objectivity to anything that is against your agenda and Obama's mantra. You constantly look for and try to interpret everything posted as being bigoted. He was making a comment ( A true comment) about Rosa Parks. You jumped on it because you saw a Conservative posting something with the name Rosa Parks in the sentence. You need to understand that not all Conservatives are bigots just like not all liberals are ***$.

He didn't even name Rosa Parks in the post.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

You really don't pay very good attention.

You done digging?

Where was your head when you read my comments

Must have been so far up some libs *** that you could not see and your psudo brain was stuck in brown matter. There was only one black lady who initiated sitting in the seat of choice on public transportation bus during the period. Are you that damned stupid that you have no idea what you are attempting to defend - and poorly I would add. You are too damned dumb to get out of your own way.
