Steve Jobs was a communist and wouldn't allow his products to decode Flash media. Mississippi State's athletic site is just about all Flash driven. The only way you can see HailStateTV is through the app. You cannot buy tickets through the app. You will have to access from PC.
Using flash drains battery life severely. Jobs didn't see that as the future. He saw HTML5 as the future of web browsing on mobile. Have a little more knowledge on the subject.
Considering Apple customers have begged for Flash capability every year since the introduction of iOS and Jobs, when he was still alive, refused to listen to his customers I will stick to my claim.
I would gladly give up 1/4 of the functionality of my iPhone to decode Flash.
Why? Since over 50% of smartphones and tablets can't run flash it's simply a stupid decision to develop with it. That said, very rarely is it needed, other than trying to use State's gametracker I can't recall the last time it came up.
This. And MSU's website is horrid. It doesn't function well and no one should want their website built and functioning like ours. I had a website developer tell me this. People that want flash probably think that a typewriter is a hip way to write content.
