In Pony League and Little League, for that matter, the kids used to be taught the right way to play the game. Two examples from today's game: We send the runner on a tag from third, and he is thrown out. Even the TV announcers knew it was too short a hit, and the left fielder had a great arm. The next batter gets a hit. On the last play of the game, the pitcher cuts in front of our fielder and wants to throw to first while the winning run crosses home plate. WTF
