If that's true, what are the ramifications of playing 2 D2 teams maybe, and having to get to 7 wins instead of 6? I personally wouldn't mind that challenge. You'd get the two homes games as probable wins (God help us if we don't). While I definitely don't like the idea of going to places like Ruston and Murfreesboro, I do think that we should be able to beat those teams in those venues. I don't know, I guess I'm too used to Croom, and no game ever being a sure win.

Yes, you can only count 1 game against a 1AA school for bowl eligibility. So, if you have two (like Texas Tech did last year), you have to go 7-5 to be bowl eligible. Of course, if you do like Texas Tech and go 11-1, then no one notices that you played two 1AA schools.

The Sun Belt commissioner has told his teams to request at least 1 million for money games unless the BCS schools offers a return home game.

There is an effort to get the cost of pay games up to 1.5 per money game.

The BCS schools with lower budgets are just going to end up playing a lot more games in places like Ruston, Jonesboro, or Boca Raton.

Is that the SEC schools are just going to end up paying more money to the Sun Belt schools, and C-USA schoools for that matter to.

the only way an SEC school goes to Jonesboro is if your AD is cheap- like LT.

Wonder how long before someone props up the 'dead horse', so it can be 'killed' again?

but this is exactly (cost) what he was explaining last year when many said he still did not know what was going on.
