This is the first away game I have been to in a long time so I can't remember what the policy is on that.

Yes.....and I believe you can bring firearms too. It is Texas.

not sure but think there is a noise maker ban, but if you do don't be surprised when you get hit with a beer or at least that what USM fans would tell you.

1) Hide it going in

2) Keep it hidden once you're in, at least until such time that it's clear that the away venue management doesn't care.

3) When such time occurs, ring like hell.

*-Standard Away Game Cowbell Rules do not apply in Lexington, KY, and Columbia, SC. Bring 'em and ring 'em, boys.

I took my 6 year old to the b-ball game last year and he was convinced that he NEEDED to bring his cowbell. I snuck it in for him. The instant he saw the team (about 20 minutes before tip-off), he started ringing. Shortly thereafter, we were approached by venue security and asked (very politely) to adhere to the noise-maker policy or they would have to confiscate the bell.</p>

....that cowbells are only appropriate at outdoor venues and indoor bowl games.
