Let's have a vote for the best Jack comments voted on by the board. Then let's put them on the back of a t-shirt. I will pay up to $50/shirt just to have one. Much appreciation to the basketball team sending the great Jack Cristil out on a winning note!!!!

let the additional cost of production go toward us showing we are serious about making the statue of Jack in the Junction a real thing. It will not pay for the entire thing, but it would be a hell of a start, especially if we got everyone behind it.

Just because he called both sports, plus we've got to include any players' name that was replaced with a "Jack's" name..,ie, Barry-Randy. The best in the business...Ladies and Gentlemen, Jack Cristil!!!

And I think there should be a statue of Jack, then rather than making one tshirt with a set of Cristilisms on it, do a series. Put Jack's face on the front and a saying on the back. Do one version a month for a year, that makes it affordable and raises a lot more money. Just a suggestion.

There were easily more than 10 from that game alone. Perhaps Jack's greatest performance- I actually want a copy of a game that we lost to Ole Miss 45-0 because of Jack alone. As long as it is a video with Jack's radio broadcast over it.

You need to figure out a way to present one to him in a public forum. If allowed by your administration and he goes along with it, that would be pretty cool.

ETA: While I didn't chop any onions today, a bit of dust did get in this Ole Miss eye. I had to go to town and was listening to the end of the game on the way. I waited in a parking lot outside the store for about ten minutes hoping that you guys would pull it out. I have always liked Mr. Cristil.

Grew up thinking they were the best. Still do, no matter how subjective and small-minded it may seem.<div>
</div><div>I'll take a "you can wrap this in maroon and white" or a "ONE MAN TO BEAT!" (screaming even though the Rebs are down by 30) over any other bland announcer. Completely okay with biased radio crews.</div>

and would jab at MSU when they deserved it... kellum could never paint a picture with his words like Cristil, never will have Cristil's originalism, and he's nothing but a silly homer and will never be nothing else.....

Cristil will always be a legend...

Kellum is a screaming idiot that even the most ardent Ole Miss fans I know are embarrassed by. I guess if they ever put up a statue of Kellum, etched at the bottom would be HIS catch phase "I can't believe they didn't call pass interference!!"

6 tall to be exact. Seeing as how we rarely agree on anything in here. How about we keep it simple with a maroon shirt with an image of Jack on the front and "Wrap it in Maroon and White" on the back, or possibly offer both. I'll buy either one.

I can't remember the game or context... but just remember Jack saying this one time... likely during a Croom era football game. I remember it riled up a few folks LOL.
