We did a good job of being quiet but once we got into the redone out fans started telling and clanging their bells.

Do not do this this weekend. I know it's exciting but wait until we punch it in then do whatever you want.

Somehow I doubt the fanatics (message board fans) are the ones that need this lesson. It's the much more casual fans that need this taught to them IMO

It definitely happened more than usual, and seemed to originate from the student section (NeWbS), most of whom I doubt spend their days on SPS.

Did we get a cowbell fine last weekend? If we did, I haven't heard about it.

OM was fined $50K for rushing the field and tearing down the goalpost. Bjork tweeted (perhaps humorously, perhaps not) that people in the photo should donate $$ for the fines.

I was amazed at how quiet State fans were when Dak was calling signals for nearly all of our snaps against Texas A&M. It was eerily quiet. Making noise, especially ringing cowbells, has been a dumb State home fan thing since I've been going to State games over 30 years. Even earlier this season.

Last year we didn't know until 12/20.

I thought it was verified that it was UM that complained following the Egg Bowl, but I can't find written confirmation of that.
