business to bed? I'm sick of people praising him for being fat and lazy. His only effort occurs on the offensive end. He can't defend a ball screen because he is way too slow. He doesn't use his body on the defensive end. He doesn't block out. He never rebounds. He doesn't play help defense. When he gets tired, he chest bumps or tackles the guy he should be defending. The guy is a liability. The announcers are right. We can win without him and we don't need him in there to be successful. Offensively, we were better with him in there...but so was Baylor.

People have been reaching to praise Sidney all year when the fact is, we'd have basically the exact same record without him. Hell, he's been suspended for half of them. I'm not one of those kick him off the team type people for drawing a tech but I'm also not going to kiss someone's *** for simply playing with effort. Effort is supposed to be demanded when you sign your scholarship.

1. You didn't watch the ball game tonight. He rebounded, blocked shots and hustled when he was in the game.
2. You we're fat and a ****** athlete thus you got denied any real sports because no one in MS plays rugby.
3. It's not completely Sidney's fault that he's out of shape, I blame that on Stansbury and his strength staff.

His attitude and hustle have completely 180'ed from last year to this year, you are just hating to hate. It says a lot about a guy who is 6 17'n 10 and can run up and down the court and when he gets fired up be as agile as he is a almost 300lbs. His career has been overshadowed by all the BS he's got himself caught up in, but he's earned some of my respect back this year alone by proving me wrong almost every time he's in the game.

I'm with you. Obviously he played well tonight and we probably wouldn't have been that close without him. But he is slow on defense, and half of the time is aliability on the defensive end. Although Lewis is not as dominant in the post offensively, he gives way better effort on the defensive end. Sid played better defensively tonight, but he still does some really dumb things and commits terrible fouls.

Just becauseSid played hard tonight doesn't mean he didn't screw up at the end and ruin a good offensive performance. But too many on here get their panties in a wad when you criticize someone at MSU. Last year at this time, everyone wanted him off the team because he was a liability. Tonight he plays some good ball against a good team and suddenly he's untouchable and you can't criticize him even though he screwed up at the end.

But if you get him the ball inside with Moultrie on the floor he's pretty unstoppable and that's a fact. This isn't the first BIG man I've seen who struggles with being in shape and once again that is all on the coaches and their sorry *** strength staff. If Balis was in charge of this team he'd look like 17'n Super Man. For anyone on here to wish that he wasn't a part of this team is down right 17'n stupid. We got dealt a hand and through all the BS we stuck with it. I'm impressed with how far he's come from being an absolute **** show to something that actually resembles an NBA draft pick. Effort is there this year, only thing holding him back is being out of shape.
