for a reporter to be first with a story than to be accurate in reporting a story? I just don't remember it always being this way. Tonight I've seen it absolutely confirmed and categorically denied that Mullen will interview at PSU on Monday. It's one thing for us to ******** on here about what we've heard here and there, but it's different when people who are being paid to report news do it. I feel like ever story should start with, "Ladies and gentlemen, this might be total ********, but . . . (insert what 'sources close to the situation' say)."

News was put out on the morning paper and evening news. Today breaking news a 24 hours a day job, and the faster you break it, then the more valuable you are. Like the iTeam on DP says "fast and wrong is still fast".

Having said that, the PSU Rivals site shouldn't be taken as seriously as Marcello and the CL.

And.. Now having said that, Mullen is interviewing on Monday and is lying to Marcello.

and the sad thing is they don't even understand the culture of the internet. We know 90% of the rumors we read are ******** but they see us talking about it so intently and think, "well there has to be some truth to it!" But no, no there doesn't have to be ANY truth to it, even if we all agree. It really seems to be getting out of hand. Jackson TV stations reporting message board rumors as fact is ridiculous.
