Konner Griffen's (number one national baseball recruit in 2024 and 9th overall MLB pick) dad was on Jake Whim's show on Tuesday and used the term, "relentless recruiter," to describe the type coach we need to hire.

The more I hear about Coggin, the more I like him. I want someone like Saban, who lives and breaths his sport. Puts everything else on the back burner and is a relentless recruiter.

Mingione doesn't seem all that great. They are 10-11 in league. Seems like he wouldn't really do much better here.....unless of course we are still running "have you seen our stadium" as our thoughts on improving.

I don’t think the same university who fired a coach for having an affair (allegedly) with a staffer is going to hire a coach who had an affair (allegedly) with a booster’s wife causing said booster to murder their two sons and burn down his house before committing suicide.

I'm assuming this is Can, I think there was a lot more to it. Plus that AD is gone.

He's a dark horse, a lot of unlikely stuff would have to happen.

No matter who the h/c is next year, they'll have their work cut out for them. Next year could be UGLY. I mean, really bad personnel wise. You lose the following position players (Reeves, Downs, Stallman, Chance, Sullivan, Frei, Hines, Powell). You lose the following on the bump (Kohn, Simmons, Hungate, Williams, Ligon). Essentially, you have the following players back that had some appreciable p/t (assuming they stay): Reese, Cupp, Highfill, Sanders. Pitching its Siary, Dotson, McPherson, Pruitt, Davis and Burns. I didn't list Nolan Stevens because there's some speculation that he's longer around so who knows. Either way it's clear that Lemonis effed up this roster.

The bad news in all of this is that there will be a new pope before we have a new coach. I don't believe there was a plan at all in this.
