That would be exactly what they do: hire him after Biano “retires” and then Cann takes them to their 2nd CWS after being there for two years. (Not sure if these are needed or not ***)

You are correct. I think JAKE came out and said he didn’t run practice sometimes the way he was used to. And yes, the Mayors opinion is greatly taken, what I’m asking though, is if you want to get back to hosting SUPERS as a floor, would Cann bring back what we need? I’m not telling you guys, I’m asking? What assistant are we going to get to bring that back? Because apparently Lemon, can recruit top classes, but you’re seeing the result of lack of leadership (TA’s exact words on Bo Bounds Show) on these MSU teams. And I damn sure don’t like quoting the bounds show.

Seriously, you’re not even worth engaging with. Cann was probably the most comically unqualified hire in the history of SEC athletics, and was / is a despicable human being to boot. The man was literally fired from a high school job in the city where he grew up after he lost our gig. Let that sink in.

You’re talking about firing Lemonis for letting things get off the rails after 4 years, and hiring a dude who couldn’t even keep things in line for 15 months. You don’t give second chances to people who never even deserved first chances.

You misunderstand me. He is not thought highly of as a coach, regardless of off field issues. He would have a good job now if he were thought of as a good coach. It’s been 7 years.

1) MLB player for the Yankees and Rays (fired after 14 games)
2) SEC Head baseball coach (fired after 1.05 seasons)
3) High School baseball coach (fired after 3 seasons)
4) 11U coach (TBD)

My guess is he is trending towards being a rec league ball field groundskeeper, or an associate in the Wal Mart sporting goods section right before he starts drawing social security.

This is officially the low point of a coach at MSU. The fanbase wanting a previous coach back that was terminated means sunset is getting close for the current coach.

Happened during Croom when people wanted Jackie back… Stans during Rick Ray (and Howland).. and now Cann with Lemonis.

i have the same feeling about Lemonis that I did with Stansbury ....it's just time for a change..Whether or not it will be in our best interest in the long term remains to be seen ...our basketball program never recovered. Even with us having tournament teams, we can't fill the hump more than three times a season

With some imply something happened when he was here and he pissed off a lot of people. I’m not sure who he could have pissed off that actually matters. An AD who’s no longer here, a head coach who already got fired, an assistant coach who is about to be fired, an assistant coach who is now the head coach at Utah, and a bunch of players who are now gone. Who else?

Absolutely no idea, but I think he should be one of the first calls or the first call, if State goes the assistant coach route.
