Just take that 17 cell phone way (Cough Cough Pearl and Freeze). The way this NIL and Portal era is going … we are not getting Tony V. If you want your guy, go get him. Worse that happens, we barely make Regionals every 4 years. I get it, this guy burnt his damn bridges … I know everyone pisses on him, but … if you want to be in the top of the SEC …. Bite the damn bullet. Sky is not looking so blue right now in baseball. Granted it’s a damn far fetched reach, but this university has to shake something up.

I’m not sure who he could have pissed off that actually matters. An AD who’s no longer here, a head coach who already got fired, an assistant coach who is about to be fired, an assistant coach who is now the head coach at Utah, and a bunch of players who are now gone. Who else?

The only group left is the same one who got Lem fired, a few baseball boosters. Apparently he did something while he was here to piss a couple guys off. Maybe it's what he didn't do - kiss necessary *** properly. I don't know.

But he can recruit. That's step 1. Speaking of, I would have loved to see Coggin and Cannizaro on the same staff in some alternate universe over the past few years post-NC. What a 17'ing juggernaut we could have been.
