The texting was going on all weekend during the games. I've heard from a pretty good source he walked away from his phone and left it unlocked. A staff member grabbed it and saw what was going on. Cohen was then informed. I don't know what Cohen knew before this and can't find anyone who does. My source didn't know what game this occured in. It was no secret that he was preoccupied.

Yes. if he is asking for forgiveness, he must tell us what to forgive him for. "I had an extramarital affair" or "I had an inappropriate relationship" or " I lied about it to my boss when confronted", something to those effects. And no....we DO NOT KNOW what happened, just the rumours that are flying around.

I hesitate to believe this without some serious corroborating evidence.....but if he was sexting during a freaking game then he should be fired on the spot. Even if he never even met the woman he was sexting and had no affair, that's just unforgiveable. Even Houston Nutt quit sexting once he left the locker room.

Don't know about the sexting, but he was on his phone all the time in preseason practices and even during the games last weekend at least some.

I get it. I felt the same way. I was hearing rumors about this type of thing and thought it was so dumb there was no way it was happening. I received a call this afternoon from a reliable source saying that is what happened and he gave pretty specific details of how it unfolded that makes me believe this is fact what happened. There's no doubt something occurred during the weekend for this to go down so fast.

ETA: I haven't heard anything on the content of the messages. Only that he was preoccupied with his phone. My gut is it wasn't the content that was the issue.

I think we've heard all the public info we need to and are going to. I live in Memphis and I haven't had anyone bring it up to me. Not family, not friends, not coworkers. No one. This is a good thing and doesn't need to be disrupted by anyone from State making any more comments.

Probably. Cohen better be prepared though because the next time he has a presser for any reason he will get questions about this. What am I saying, of course he'll be prepared to handle it.
