I have always liked Franklin and I think he is going to leave Vandy real real soon.<div>IF Mullen somehow leaves, I think Franklin should get strong consideration.</div><div>

if I'm Franklin - I would wait for something bigger. I don't think he would leave Vandy to go to State.

of hisshtick. I guess when he started whining about cowbells (even though we didn't play them this year) on sports radio this summer just after they announced the extension of the "cowbell compromise," it really got under my skin. I know people talk about Mullen being arrogant but this cat is much worse than Mullen. He is very condescending in his comments and just has an attitude that goes beyond confidence. I know others will disagree but he really rubs me the wrong way and I couldn't give two craps about Vandy.

We're one of the bottom4 jobs in the SEC (even after A&M and Missouri come on board). But we're a hell ofa lot better than Vandy.</p>

They've played good solid ball all year, Franklin is all over sports talk radio in Nashville marketing to the fans and they still don't show up. If Vandy went undefeated, they still couldn't sell out their stadium and it's smaller than ours. The Music City Bowl is going to take us over them because we'll bring more fans....and they are in the city where the MCB is played. That tells you all you need to know right there. We may not be that great of a job, but we are most certainly a better job than Vandy. OM is too for that matter.....even though Vandy has kinda owned them as of late.

Vandy - 2 winning seasons in the last 35 years going into this year, 7-6 in 08 and 8-4 in 82.

MSU - 14 winning seasons in the last 35 years going into this year, including 8 with at least 8 wins.

Granted, our record over the years isn't much to be proud of. But it's light-years ahead of Vandy.

and THEN his whining after the game and response to the UT locker room celebration just made me not like him.
If he was white, I'd call him a redneck for all that BS he showed...on tv at that.

Let me add - if you are already at Vandy - I don't think you would leave for State.

If you have a choice between Vandy or State - obviously - you choose State.

That says a lot. Even Kentucky was able to beat Tennesse without even playing a QB the whole game. Tennessee's wins this year: Montana, Cincinnati, Buffalo, Middle Tennessee, Vandy. That's not exactly good company the Dores are keeping there.

as he did this year, we'd cherry pick him. But having said that, I really wouldn't want him anyways. Something about him just kind of rubs me the wrong way.
