I'm holding my nose, but this would be the best option for us. Outback bowl would blow and would be yet another slight in this post season. We were just at the Gator Bowl, and although it's close, it would be better to go somewhere else.

If we end up in Nashville, our attendance would be pathetic. Might as well douse the winner in mayo at that point.

The Citrus and Outback are by-far the best remaining options. But I'm not sure a matchup with Illinois moves the needle much.

I think Citrus would be the best option but there are a lot of things that have to fall into place for that to happen.
Ole Miss is the highest ranked SEC team not to make the playoffs, and if Clempson wins (and I'm so annoyed with the committee I almost hope they do) Alabama would be the highest and we would be the third. We could wind up anywhere right now.
