A liberal who takes one statement and forms a negative response? Who would have thunk it? Everyone with a brain. Did not say I hated super hero movies.
Oh Jesus, one of these types, where's the ignore again?

You missed the sarcasm, guy. We know the real reason you won’t watch it.

Yep you know everything about why people do things

My memory isn't as good as it used to be, but aren't you the guy who said "Captain America is a woman" in the political thread? I'll take your comments with a grain of salt after that.

My son and I enjoyed it. At first I was like, "this chick ain't gonna be much help against Thanos." At least not with how the movie started. Of course opinions changed. I told my son how I thought the end credits scenes should go and came really close to nailing them both (great minds think alike [laughing]). Now I'm just anxious for Endgame to get here to see how they end this phase of the MCU.

Right? My wife and I did a run through of all the MCU movies since I think we had only seen Iron Man 1 and Avengers 1. We watched them all in release order so we could finally watch Infinity War since it was so hyped. Well after the cliff hangar that was IW, this movie really connected things well IMO and was a complete blast while even increasing my anticipation for Endgame that was already through the roof.

Let's goooooooooooooooooo!

I was watching Pulp Fiction on IFC the other night and thought back to 1993 - Forrest Gump, Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction. Great movies. 2019? Aquaman and friends, a Spider-Man cartoon, captain comic and the kangaroos. I mean WTF happened? Is it that 15 year olds and huge nerds are the only ones that go to the movies anymore? All the adults just watch Netflix and series and whatnot? Me and my wife wanted to go on a date night a couple weeks ago and hadn’t been to the movies in probably a couple years. Got a babysitter - got all excited, looked at the movies. Complete ****. I mean pure ****, nothing even looked remotely interesting. Ended up doing dinner and drinks instead, very disappointing.

Yeah expecting someone to be able to take a movie on face value without judging the physical attributes of the lead actress is a strong arm tactic to taking down the patriarch. Smdh

We have to stand up to sexism and white male privilege. That’s why it’s important to support movies like this and the Ghostbusters remake.

We got to keep resisting.

I just liked the movie ffs and this thread devolved into a bunch of miscreants who can’t stand a woman in a lead role. I liked this one because of the story not any other reason. I didn't like Ghost Busters because it wasn't good. See how that works? You don't need to turn everything into a ******* argument.

Nothing to do with a woman in the lead role. More with what was said by lead woman regarding old white men.

I’m on your side, buddy.

Alien, Underworld, Terminator 2 all great female lead roles. Then you’ve got the new batch of Star Wars and Captain Marvel and Wonder Woman. It’s really taking it to the bigots.

I have no issue letting customers decide if a movie is good or not but I don’t care for manipulating data to polish these liberal turds
