Most scholars believe Jesus existed.
So in the religious application, scholars are to be followed and trusted. Got it.
Maybe he did exist as a man. If he did, he’s just an earlier version of Joseph Smith.
Most scholars believe Jesus existed.
For a minute there we were talking about Marvel movies.
I do think it's funny that I open up page 3 from the first page and we get to "most scholars believe jesus existed" in a capital marvel thread.

^^Yeah, not indifferent than boycotting Chick-Filet, or a bakery, or eateries that don't agree with you. It is easy to say that here but, I am willing to bet you have not involved yourself in some things in the past that were against your way of thinking.
She made a point that she did not care about my opinion, I simply agree with her that I don't need to spend my money there. Win-win. Don't think it will hurt sales at all, just makes me feel better not to give. Had that been her saying that about another demographic, we would have demonstration, violence, cars set on fire. I am doing it peaceably.
Another person called my demographic deplorable a while back and that did not help her cause much. That and she was a mean and ugly person.
I think so yes...Just watched it. Pretty good movie. She’s still hot.
Only problem with movies like this is that they feel the need to explain everything and connect everything. Couldn’t he just have an eye patch? Did we need to know how?
I think they could mimic his injury. They can mimic the clothes anyone is wearing at the time.I think so yes...
Theory: Skrulls can't spoof Fury. Skrull's mimic the DNA of their targets, anything not encoded in the DNA is not present, injuries, tattoos, etc... I think this might come to light down the road. It's also a defining feature of a character that isn't "super." We know all about the origins of all the heroes so I don't think its outlandish to give one of Fury's defining features an origin either.
I was watching Pulp Fiction on IFC the other night and thought back to 1993 - Forrest Gump, Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction. Great movies. 2019? Aquaman and friends, a Spider-Man cartoon, captain comic and the kangaroos. I mean WTF happened? Is it that 15 year olds and huge nerds are the only ones that go to the movies anymore? All the adults just watch Netflix and series and whatnot? Me and my wife wanted to go on a date night a couple weeks ago and hadn’t been to the movies in probably a couple years. Got a babysitter - got all excited, looked at the movies. Complete ****. I mean pure ****, nothing even looked remotely interesting. Ended up doing dinner and drinks instead, very disappointing.
Those movies listed are some of my all time favorites. Captain Marvel and many of the other marvel movies are still fantastic....I could've written this post. 100% agree .

My review:
F***ing awesome. Go see it.
Make sure you've seen the prior movies first and if you're not keen on catching up at least watch Infinity War and Ant-Man and Wasp first.
There was no major connection, I just thought the post credit scenes in both Ant-Man and Wasp and Infinity War have a good payoff with the post credit scene in CM.Just watched Captain Marvel yesterday, I really liked it.
But, why did you say to at least watch Ant-man and Wasp first? Captain Marvel tied into many of the other Marvel movies but I dont remember it tying in with Ant-Man at all.
Just curious if I missed something
I don't think you do but, in the spirit of good will so as to not high jack this thread any further, I will keep my reason for the political forum.
