Yeah, not indifferent than boycotting Chick-Filet, or a bakery, or eateries that don't agree with you. It is easy to say that here but, I am willing to bet you have not involved yourself in some things in the past that were against your way of thinking.

She made a point that she did not care about my opinion, I simply agree with her that I don't need to spend my money there. Win-win. Don't think it will hurt sales at all, just makes me feel better not to give. Had that been her saying that about another demographic, we would have demonstration, violence, cars set on fire. I am doing it peaceably.

Another person called my demographic deplorable a while back and that did not help her cause much. That and she was a mean and ugly person.

Well that's kinda the point, Thanos had amassed all the power in the universe. Gonna need some big guns eh?

Just saw it tonight. Really liked it. I haven't seen all the marvel movies so I'm sure I missed things someone more informed would pick up.

Just watched it. Pretty good movie. She’s still hot.

Only problem with movies like this is that they feel the need to explain everything and connect everything. Couldn’t he just have an eye patch? Did we need to know how?

I think so yes...

Theory: Skrulls can't spoof Fury. Skrull's mimic the DNA of their targets, anything not encoded in the DNA is not present, injuries, tattoos, etc... I think this might come to light down the road. <--- Dumb

It's also a defining feature of a character that isn't "super." We know all about the origins of all the heroes so I don't think its outlandish to give one of Fury's defining features an origin either.

I think they could mimic his injury. They can mimic the clothes anyone is wearing at the time.

I was watching Pulp Fiction on IFC the other night and thought back to 1993 - Forrest Gump, Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction. Great movies. 2019? Aquaman and friends, a Spider-Man cartoon, captain comic and the kangaroos. I mean WTF happened? Is it that 15 year olds and huge nerds are the only ones that go to the movies anymore? All the adults just watch Netflix and series and whatnot? Me and my wife wanted to go on a date night a couple weeks ago and hadn’t been to the movies in probably a couple years. Got a babysitter - got all excited, looked at the movies. Complete ****. I mean pure ****, nothing even looked remotely interesting. Ended up doing dinner and drinks instead, very disappointing.

I could've written this post. 100% agree .

Saw it. I thought it was great. But thought a man would do it much better than a woman. Probably have a nicer *** too.

My review:

F***ing awesome. Go see it.

Make sure you've seen the prior movies first and if you're not keen on catching up at least watch Infinity War and Ant-Man and Wasp first.

Just watched Captain Marvel yesterday, I really liked it.

But, why did you say to at least watch Ant-man and Wasp first? Captain Marvel tied into many of the other Marvel movies but I dont remember it tying in with Ant-Man at all.

Just curious if I missed something

There was no major connection, I just thought the post credit scenes in both Ant-Man and Wasp and Infinity War have a good payoff with the post credit scene in CM.

I don't think you do but, in the spirit of good will so as to not high jack this thread any further, I will keep my reason for the political forum.

I’m sorry you fell for the lies man... 100% swear to you that was manipulated by DC fans wanting to ruin the movie. There was a Facebook page for dc fans organizing and recruiting members to take down the movie a few months ago and the Brie Larson speech was manipulated by them .

Brie Larson never said she hates white men ... she specifically in that speech said she doesn’t hate white men nor men in general and that she just wants to see more critics that are female and of color because 65% are white males and it needs more diversity . She said she didn’t care what white men thought about a wrinkle in time ... only that movie because it was made for young black women . She said it about one movie... and you can kinda see where she is coming from...

I liked the movie. It wasn’t amazing but I and my wife were entertained to the point we saw it twice. Might go for a third time. Best parts are fury, talos, Goose the cat and the moments between Danvers and her best friend
