Caravan 21 - 14 over Marist

Overall, MC the better team. Still Marist has a nice team that should be able to pull out a 6-3 or minimum 5-4 and get to the playoffs. MC had some fumbles and some special team missed assignments that they'll have to work on, but overall a good start
MC has much to work on, IMHO: three turnovers (plus a recovered fumble); penalties; kick-off returned for TD. Defense was solid, allowing only one score, but Marist advanced the ball well after the first quarter with short pass offense and scrambling QB. Good training for the Loyola game.

Terrific Game between two great teams last night. I really think Marist opened some eyes last night with a very respectable 21-14 loss to a powerhouse like MC. Marist had opportunity after opportunity and just couldn't get it done. Good win by Caravan, and best of luck to both teams throughout this season.
After Rice game I went down Pulaski and got to frosh game w Marist up 14-7. MC switched QBs at half. Was tied at 14 in 4th Marist went up 20-14. MC was driving late a fumble was called-I actually thought late hit/spearing on Marist but that's how it ended Marist scored maybe a min left 27-14 final. MC had some good kids out there but turned the ball over 4 times I saw. I did not stay for soph game with MC having a ton up.
