Purely out of curiosity, what do they do that should be illegal?

They cut a lot and there are times when it should be a chop. Their line is a little slow on doing it which is why I would not be surprised it if it is called when a guy goes low and anotehr guy pulls.

Looking forward to this matchup! I’ll be there tailgating in the north end zone (enter parking lot from 103rd veer left to park access rd) if you want to stop by. As usual, there’s whiskey, cigars and hot dogs (compliments of Maxwells).
With all due respect for The Godfather MC63, I will not make any predictions this week. I’m certain, Coach Frank, AKA “The Lord Of The Rings” has devised a quality game plan.

There’s three things certain in life... death, taxes and 27 (Thomas) will always be open....

In all of my many years as a Man of Carmel, I've never seen a "North end zone parking lot"

MC loves that should-be-illegal cut block
Purely out of curiosity, what do they do that should be illegal?

I’m not saying just MC, I’m saying cut blocks period. When an o-lineman literally dives helmet first into a d-lineman’s knees, it should be illegal and penalized, especially at the college and below levels. Way too much potential to end a kids career.

MC vs. Normal roll call!! Who is going? Hoping to possibly see coach Crank in person! AMBofQUAN? Dean? It's not about talent!

Sorry G. Cannot make this one. Will be in South Bend. We still need to get back to Jimmy's Woodlawn.

The more I read about Normal the more concerned I get about this game for MC

I saw Normal a few years back in person and my thought was they were much better then what I expected, they may not come from a strong football area but they were well coached and usually have some size. MC should win but it will be a competitive game.

Can't say I've seen many, if any, career ending cut blocks.

Agree No you don’t - but have Definitely seen some MCL strains/tears and a few of the dreaded ACL.

For HS kids even an MCL strain can end their year depending on what Grade the strain is and when in the season. College/Pro - probably back in 4 to 6 weeks depending on the Grade of the Strain.

Way way back in the day in the late 80’s - I had one with MCL and had the new fangled arthroscopic surgery where they make small incisions and stick the scope in with the camera. Was out 8 weeks. Luckily it was my junior year..... there is a reason most of the College OLineman (and some HS kids) wear braces - OLineman get rolled up on from the sides and from behind way more than most players and you see a lot of knee injuries from that.

Tommie Harris comes to mind, at the pro level. And let’s be honest, lil junior tears an Acl, mcl, is momma really going to let him suit back up anytime soon? I’m obviously making generalizations here. I don’t have anyone specific in mind.
