As is usually the case, the Cards are noticeably quicker than this BC team, which is causing all kinds of problems for BC on both sides of the ball.

Frustrating to see these turnovers. They have cost us 2 FG at least.

By no means is the Cards defense as good as it looks today against a BC QB who wouldn't probably be on the Cards roster.

The defense is also not as bad as the numbers seem to suggest they are. I wonder if any other team has played against four high volume QB's as talented as those four are in their first 6 games?

Corral, Gabriel, Hartman and Armstrong are four of the best in college football. You need a top notch DL to mitigate such passing talent and the Cards do not have that.

Let’s not have a 2nd half let down we need to keep doing what worked in the 1st half. BC will start the half with emotion if we score on them early that could take away that emotion.

I swear we just can't keep the offense going. It's always something. Now Malik can't throw an accurate pass. Why doesn't Satterfield throw to the backs more? There's been several times in this game where the defense doesn't bother to check the RB coming out of the backfield.

I have to admit, I'm looking forward to the end of this college football season. For whatever reason, be it a bad curse or just bad play, the Louisville Cardinals this season just can't seem to get out of their own way. My frustration level is off the tracks with this team. So much promise being wasted.

Don’t tell me we are going to do a repeat of the Virginia game. A good lead going into the 4th and then the bad guys come from behind and take the game away from us. 6 minutes to go up by 7 fingers crossed.

Okay, 21 to 14 Cards with 6 minutes to go. Who thinks we're going to go 3 and out? Who thinks we're going to turn the ball over? Who thinks we're going to get hosed by a penalty?

Who thinks we're going to run out the clock? Who thinks we're going to score?

Very happy for the team. Game was way too close late, no the Cards are not a T25 team but this BC product today was really bad, yet with 5 min to go game is up for grabs.
Exactly! This should have been a 38 to 14 score at least. If Louisville is going to win these upcoming games they have to stop with these long stretches of doing nothing. Yes, we won today but the same issues are still there so it's hard to get excited or feel jubilant because we held onto a lead over a BC team who is nothing like they were before their QB got hurt.

Everything is still out of wack regarding football a lot of powerhouse programs look nothing like they have the past decade. Could make the playoffs really interesting this year.

I guess I look at it a little differently … we had 4 turnovers but still beat a 4-2 BC team by 14. We only gave up 266 yards of total offense and we forced 3 TOs. By far the best defensive performance of the year.

It is a win. Pitt smacked Clemson like Katina Powell pumping gas in a dorm room with Coach O today.

Think about this and the wasted opportunity.

It may well be a Wake Forest/Virginia ACC championship game.

Louisville had both beaten only to lose in the last minute.

This was the season where Louisville could have made thir first ACC championship game. Clemson is struggling big time.

But, we lost those two games that were so winnable and it boggles the mind. How close is this flawed team to being 5 and 1 and Malik Cunningham a ACC mvp candidate?

My gosh. A win is what I wanted and the Cards gave us all that by 14 points.

This young team was up and down but overall played a good game vs a 4-2 team. I for one am grateful for the W.

Just wonder how the Penn St fans feel about now losing in 9 OTs or how OK St feels about their loss knocking them out of the undefeated ranks, etc., etc.

Cinn struggles with a 1-6 Navy team. VTech loses at home to the Cuse in the 4th Qtr. Parity is every where in CFB this year especially the ACC. Pitt put CU down hard too.

Gratitude is hard for those with skewed expectations I suppose. C'mon men, the Cards won today. Let's celebrate and get ride of the toxic negativity so pervasive in todays society. Geez.

And Miami takes down NC St 31-30. Parity, parity, parity and home field advantage for the Canes. That loss helps the Cards in divisional standings.

Now, WF needs to go down not once but twice and the Cards need to beat NC St. and Clemson. The Canes just showed how to do it vs NC St.

Go Cards.

You know you can do two things at one time? I'm celebrating the Cards win as opposed to whining over a Cards loss. But I also expected this win because I knew BC didn't have a all American QB.

Louisville definitely has a chance to win out, especially now that their opponents are more offensively challenged.

I think the Cards will beat NC State but I felt that way against both Wake and Virginia.

Don't the Cards need to beat Syracuse and Duke also?

Absolutely...captain obvious. They need to win all remaining ACC games for sure and get some help with others beating the teams ahead of them in the division. Then let the chips fall were they may. One at a time.

Yet, the games were not mentioned when remaining must wins were discussed.

Because if we're being honest, even people pointing at parity have their own set of expectations. No mention of either SU or Duke was a Freudian slip.

Great max effort on both sides but sloppy. D really came to play and overall staff deserves credit for keeping these guys after it considering WF/UVA losses hurt. Cooley emerging. Multi guys on D side of ball making plays. Good things.

But annoyed to be in toss-up w/ 5 min to go against an inferior team. Hated turning to failed trick play when in control, everything working conventionally, and moving for extended lead to open 2nd half. Those play calls took the air outta the balloon and put BC back into the game. And that's an issue, and fair to point out. But also over it!
