I believe we want/need a couple games of both offense & defense showing up in the same game.
IOWs, we want our cake & eat it too. Here’s to Cards fans, we’ve had some rough years.
Chatting with tailgate friends yesterday, they have pulled back their die hard heart because of all the drama. Some asked how long do I keep investing?

Looking at Atlantic standings: Wake Forest at 4-0 with conference home games remaining against Duke and NC State and road games against Clemson and Boston College. They also have a road game at North Carolina, but that is a non-conference game.

NC State is now 2-1, and Clemson, Louisville and FSU are all tied at 2-2. Syracuse is 1-3 and BC is 0-3.

There does appear to be at least one scenario where UofL would win the division over Wake with 3 division teams tied at 6-2. If UofL, Wake and NC State were to tie at 6-2, the first tiebreaker (head to head between all 3) would be tied at 1-1. The second tiebreaker is record in the division. Wake would be eliminated with a 4-2 division record compared to UofL and NC State at 5-1. With Wake eliminated, UofL would win the division by virtue of the head to head win against NC State.

Wake wins if three tied teams are WF-FSU-UofL.
