Remember most of those... I think the most incredible was the Foster game... Having to listen to it on the radio, was bad enough... I have never in my life seen, well heard that kind of shooting... from 30-35 feet out... Heart break city!!! He was making it rain that night! The Mitchell performance was crazy also.. I was that Double OT game.

UAB had a good club that year with the current Mizzou coach at the helm I believe. But that guy literally pulled up from the "S" on the MSTATE banner and hit nothing but bottom. He was on fire that night.

If Ben Practice Facility Hansbrough had made his free throws we had Vandy beat. Yea that game was hell to listen to. I bet Xavier could have beat him the day we played them in the NCAA's. They could have made backwards 3's from halfcourt all 2nd half

I know we were good that year, but when two guys get 53 on 9-11 from 3 point, that's tough to overcome.

The Alabama game where Shelton went off was about as pissed off as I've ever been about an MSU basketball game. It was billed as the game of the year, and they beat us by about 50.</span></font></div>

But the NCAA certainly didn't help us any with who they placed us against. One year we were a 3 seed playing a 6 seed Texas in Dallas. Then, they put us up against a scorching hot 7 seed Xavier team as a 2 seed.

and leave off Brad Boyd's career high 33 for Louisiana-Lafayette back in 2003.

I remember being shocked he only had 33, it seemed like he hit a 3 every single trip down court.

Cant remember exactly when, but he hit like 53's in a row from 28 feet. I think he had 35 that game. </p>

im saying the next person who has a career night against us is gonna be eric bledsoe, i think we come out and defend wall and cousins hard, they will still get they're points, but i think bledsoe comes out and has a career game. btw i just want to point out that cousins in only averaging 22 minutes a game, that makes his 15.9 pts and 10.2 boards a game even more amazing that he is doing it while basically only playing half of the game.

edited: bledsoe currently has games with 23 pts, 24 pts, and 25 pts.

I would assume it would be at worst average since we've typically been decent or better on defense. It'd be interesting if we had more than our fair share ofcareer nights posted against us.

Most of those seem to be a result of people getting hot from 3, which is hard to know when it was somebody just on fire (Foster) or somebody State let get in a rythm.Theone that jumps out as preventable was fortson, but obviously that's recent.

Also, are these career highs that stayed career highs? Or just games where it was a career high at the time?
