Well that should lower everyone's expectations by a lot. Apathy mode is 100% back for me after last week.
LOL. Well it was fun half season...then a "couple weeks" to get him back acclimated and in a rhythm. You're not doing any basketball activity with a bad back. I guess Cal didn't take the injury curse completely with him.
Ughh …that could be season ending if true.
Was a fun season while it lasted.
Still no excuse for today but this season is going to quickly become disappointing without him.
What timing, hope he gets well. Getting guys to stay healthy seems like it’s been an issue for years
Well at least he isnt just protecting his draft stock.
Find a way to get to 19-12 or 20-11 and just hope you get a good draw that’s all they can do now

You are moving the goalposts. The point is we had numerous injuries last season at times.
And I'm pretty sure everyone knows Mitchell was still not 100% once he returned.
Based on your logic if Carr plays n March we didn't have any injuries all season.
Even when he returns he’s going to have to get back into the flow of things . It’s a back issue so no telling when it will flare up even when healthy.
I agree but that’s the record where their for sure in. 19-12 and you feel safe
At least we know with Pope his players are legitimately injured.
No way in hell half the players under Cal that Sat out were injured. Some was. Most wasn't.
Injuries happen and you gotta deal with it. Hopefully Almonor and Noah can fill the void. It should be a great opportunity for Noah to grow against top notch competition.
I know for a fact some players under Cal were suspended and he covered it up with fake injury BS. PLAYERS FIRST
I felt after the Alabama loss last weekend the wheels were ready to come off. After today’s loss this season can go south quick if the right adjustments aren’t made.
We have 5 top 15 wins. And, most of the losses will be quality losses. We can finish around .500 overall & a cpl games below .500 in SEC play & still get IN the NCAAT. Won’t get a preferable seed or draw, most likely. And, I’d rather not cut it that close & I don’t think it’ll come to that. But, we should be in unless we totally implode.
We were soft even with Carr. 50/50 balls are foreign to our players. Defensive rebounds were a challenge. The opposing team could always count on a ton of second chance points. Carr didn’t make a huge difference in that regard.
Gonna have to rub some bengay on it and tough it out.
From someone who has major back pain i know how debilitating it can be.
