Carrier Dome Syracuse

Went to Syracuse Wake Forest game tonight @ Syracuse. Was not impressed at all with that place. A poor mans version of a dome. Frankly I thought it was a dump..

For those that are curious you are not missing anything...not to mention 2 Helms title banners in the rafters..made me laugh

Having been a lifelong UK fan along with being trapped in SU country (Rochester) the majority of my life. I went to my first SU game a couple of years ago as a favor to my best friend and yes... the carrier dome is a joke. I have that much more appreciation for Jim Boheim for accomplishing what he has accomplished by having substandard facilities. If it weren't for Carmelo Anthony donatining millions to the basketball program the practice facilities would have been equally an embarrassment. I have said all along that if coach Boheim would have coached in a traditional ACC school or an SEC school he would have had libraries, hospital wings, streets or whatever else named after him. Talk about a lack of commitment to an athletic program that is a prime example. That's the only good thing I have to say about Syracuse.

I have never been there, but I have heard the same thing from many people not including other UK fans.
