Why would they be moved out of the Blue in the first place? This realignment doesn't really make a ton of sense anywhere. The divisions don't seem to be separated by size or geographic location.

based on a new parity formula over the last two years, i'm sure the staff and administration could give you a better answer

If there's promotion/relegation - this is good.
Hard to believe MC is 3-9 last 3 years in the Blue.

Not sure except maybe they will do the promotion/demotion thing like the CMC did. MC was 3-9 in Blue last 3 years and lost to Montini head to head last year and 2 of last 3 to SR maybe that is why they were put there.

Maybe this will allow MC to finally get IMG on the schedule.

If they are indeed in the Green, it would be nice to see them bolster their non conference schedule with some 7A/8A playoff qualifiers. Not IMG but also no more CPS schools weeks 1 & 2.

Wonder what Montini thinks of this move. Will be interesting to see if they keep the tough non-con schedule in 2018.

Will the CCL continue to have cross over games. I'm hoping it's not between Blue and Red

They won't, they didn't schedule tough non con this year when given the opportunity.

As I understand it, the transfer to Green is temporary -- for two years. Other Blue schools will experience the same transfer in upcoming years.

What's the word on the street for the cross-over games?

Probably best they just shutdown MC now or name it something like King of Peace so we know it's slowly dying

So, the Blue will have 2 non-cons, 3 cross-overs with the Green, then 4 conference?
That would mean the Green would have 3 cross-overs with the Blue (plus the 2 non-cons, and 4 conference). Then who would the Red get?

Green has crossover twice with blue and twice with red and 1 open date. Blue crossovers with green twice and red once with weeks 1 and 2 open

There's a part of me that says good for MC in the sense of going 4 - 0 in the Green conference year-in and year-out, thus guaranteeing them a high playoff seed in 7A. It's all about the wins.

I have always argued for the Mustang in a sense to schedule some "tomato cans," so she makes the playoffs consistently whether it's a "down" year or not. That's why I liked the idea of District conferences because Rita would have had "weaker" opponents or the CCL based on geography idea.

The Bronco replacing Caravan does not mean an easier game at all for Rita considering Bronco crushed her last time. Imagine SR or any Blue team playing in the Blue and then having Crossover games with MC, Larry or Friar.

Tradition-wise, I'd prefer MC in the damn Blue.
