We gain absolutely zero by recruiting kids like him. We get nothing, the NBA gets a possibility in 5 years.

If he would stay a few more years and develop, it would be great. But that's not the culture here - even if you appear to be destined for the D league.

Recruiting athletic, non-shooters has been a staple under Cal. But I agree - he's outdone himself this year.
