I'm much concerned about what im watching on KPP field. The honeymoon is over.

Slugger, I really want to argue with you but I just can’t. I get it, this team has lost a lot I.e 13 draft picks last year. But, this team is just bad. Trying to fill spots with juco players is not the answer. Settle in boys and girls. It’s going to be a long year.

Hill got the pitch he needed to drive and just missed it on a 1-1 pitch. Works a full count. He shortened his swing but flew out to left.

Lewis has been hitting it hard today. Need him to find a gap somewhere. That wall in left is tricky. Really makes opponents nervous when running one down. Lewis swinging at stuff around his neck, but his hits a grounder up the middle for a single.

Tying run to the plate in form of Breydon Daniel with two on and one out in the 9th.

Ugh.. Daniel check swings and fouls off what would have been 0-3. Now 2-2. Daniel lines it into right to score Curtis! 4-2.

Best man to have up right now, Ryan Shinn, who is hitting .385 on the season.

Weird... they take down Daniel and put in Macciocchi to pinch run. He moves up on a wild pitch that Shinn offered at.

Yeah. I can see both sides. I just have seen UK run into WAY too many outs the last two years.

That's why baseball is great. Could go either way.

Collett got some pitches to kill and unfortunately I think he tried killing them instead of just making contact. Then he shortens up and pokes a grounder up the middle. Where the heck was the short stop? 4-4

NKU put on that big shift and short was on the other side of second. That's a 6-4-3 if he plays straight up.

Perfect example of waiting to state your frustration until the game actually ends. It would have been a terrible loss, but to their credit, they gutted out a win.

That's bittersweet. Hitting was bad today. That is a team we should have killed but we almost lost to. Still, this team has to grow up and that game should help with that, but it was not a great showing regarding the hitting. Bullpen continues to be pretty suspect as well.

Trust me. I agree with everything you say. But this team simply can’t afford to lose games like this to have any chance at postseason.

Well I win is a win. Honestly, this team needs to improve quite a bit before SEC play begins. Hopefully they will, the long home stand should help !

That's ridiculous to give an error on that when outfield was shifted a little and hit in the gap. Hard to call an error when it was in the gap and he was coming in sideways. That run was going to score anyway. Held the guy to a double because he was going on to 3rd

Yea, it was a tough one. If nothing else, it is one of those players where you're just trying to get the ball in as quickly as possible to hold runners. He did a great job getting to it and cutting it off though.
