I tried the same match up on a neutral field with balanced playbooks, and Florida won 37-10.

In fact, I did it 10 times, and all 10 were Florida wins. The closest were a 4 point win and two 10 point wins.

That site is fun though. Wasn't there a debate on here about 1999 MSU and 2008 Ole Miss the other day? I'll play that one 10 times and get back.

I matched up the 2008 MSU team vs. 2008 Ole Miss team and chose balanced offense and we lost 29-7. I changed to West Coast and we lost 39-0. I guess asshat coach got them the other 6 points.

That 1999 defense was unreal. If they would have had a lick of offense ....

We had a defense finish No. 1 in the nation in the mid-90s with Joe Lee Dunn, and we went 5-6 as a team that year. At least you won 10 games with your good defense. We couldn't even get to a bowl game with the No. 1 defense in the country. How bad do you have to be offensively?

the '99 State teams at home against the '07 UM team with final at 58-3.

Of course, then I did '01 State against '08 UM at home and it came up with UM win 34-3.

I played our 1998 against your 2008 team for 10 games and alternated the home and away each game.

Here are the results:
Game 1: @ Oxford: OM wins 23-16
Game 2: @ Starkville: MSU wins 28-25
Game 3: @ Oxford: OM wins 43-27
Game 4: @ Starkville: MSU wins 28-24
Game 5: @ Oxford: OM wins 37-14
Game 6: @ Starkville: OM wins 30-27
Game 7: @ Oxford: OM wins 37-17
Game 8: @ Starkville: MSU wins 34-30
Game 9: @ Oxford: MSU wins 41-34
Game 10: @ Starkville: MSU wins 41-31

1998 State- 5, 2008 Ole Miss- 5

Now onto our 1999 team against the 2003 Rebels (same thing, 10 games, alternating home/away):

Game 1: @ Oxford: MSU wins 33-12
Game 2: @ Starkville: MSU wins 30-19
Game 3: @ Oxford: MSU wins 22-3
Game 4: @ Starkville: MSU wins 34-10
Game 5: @ Oxford: MSU wins 37-12
Game 6: @ Starkville: MSU wins 32-17
Game 7: @ Oxford: MSU wins 24-3
Game 8: @ Starkville: MSU wins 27-7
Game 9: @ Oxford: Ole Miss wins 9-6
Game 10: @ Starkville: MSU wins 44-13

1999 MSU- 9, 2003 Ole Miss-1

Proven fact, 1999 State would beat 2003 Rebels if they played.

Funny thing to do is play 2008 MSU (away) against 2008 Ole Miss (home) and keep hitting "play aGAIN" and Ole Miss wins in big time blowouts each time. Seem familiar?

We beat S. Carolina 6 out of 10 times, Arkansas 8 out of 10, and Ole Miss 10 out of 10 (with a 91 - 3 *** raping for one game).

We did lose to LSU 7 out of 10, so I'll forgive that one.

Oh, and we beat Florida 7 out of 10 times.

This site is fun.

I pitted Florida 2008 against SMU 2008 in Gainesville both playing heavy pass.

Florida won 90-0, 104-3, 72-7, 71-13, 73-0, 86-0, 104-7, 76-10, 89-10, and 91-3.

That was interesting.

but I think I'd have to put Omar Conner as the third QB before Tyson Lee. He never put up great numbers, but his surrounding cast was pretty terrible (much like Kevin Fant). Some better coaching and a better system and he could've been pretty good. He was a hell of an athlete.

on a neutral field. Since this is Sim, I'm going to say it was played at the Vet, a site worthy of two crappy teams.

1st quarter- only the bands are there because of the traffic situation AND Todd4State volunteers to work that weekend and gets to park at UMC as a result. His posse hangs out in the UMC cafeteria and scarf down some John Wayne casserole sponsered by UMC GI.

Ole Miss scored first on a Bruce Hall run of 1 yard. Apparently Tommy Kelly took that play off. UM-7 MSU-0

State answers with a 26 yard Jerious Norwood run. MSU-7 UM-7

Then Ole Miss responds with a Joshua Shene 38 yard FG UM 10 MSU-7

Justin Jenkins puts his contact lenses in and hauls in a 37 yard TD pass from Fant. MSU 14 UM 10

2nd quarter- stadium is half full. The lucky ones are taking their seats.

The Rebels answer back with a BJGE 22 yard TD run. T J Mawhinney is drug 17 of those yards. UM 17 UM 14

State stalls on the next drive, but Brent Smith drills a 48 yard FG. MSU 17 UM 17

After two three and outs by the defenses, Brent Sheaffer breaks the tie with a 4 yard TD run. David Kellum soils himself. OOOOOLLLLLLLEEEEEMMMMMIIIIISSSSSSS 24 MSU 17

But State isn't done. After Norwood gets a nice return to the 50, Fant runs a QB sneak and rumbles, bumbles, stumbles down to the 9 yard line. The Rebels are dazed and confused and Aaron Lumpkin is wide open at the one yard line and takes it to the house for a 9 yard TD. David Kellum soils himself. Halftime MSU 24 Ole Miss 24.

Halftime- Maroon Band does Thriller AND then moonwalks. Stadium is still half full.

Third quarter- People who are backed up in Canton trying to get to stadium get pissed and go home. Stadium is half full.

State takes the ball and drives, but stalls. Brent Smith kicks the ball it looks like it's going to be well short, but a gust of wind comes out of the middle of nowhere and breaks the tie in what goes down as a 45 yard FG. MSU- 27 UM 24

Ron Cooper shakes his booty, and stops Ole Miss, clearly shell shocked. State drives down to the one, and on fourth and 1, Jackie digs deep into his playbook and pulls out the QB sneak again, and Fant gets another TD. MSU 34 UM 24

Next two drives for both teams stall as Jackie starts to try to run the clock out and Sheaffer goes cold.

4th Quarter- Pissed off people at Lakeland Drive that never got into the game and listened on the radio start to try to go home.

State starts to move the ball and Jackie orders a dagger- after 14 straight runs up the middle, he finally calls a play action pass, and McKinley Scott is wide open for a 19 yard TD. MSU 41 UM 24

Sheaffer starts to heat up, and attacking Odell Bradley. He drives Ole Miss down to the 1, and gives State a taste of their own medicene, with a QB sneak of his own. MSU 41 UM 31 10 minutes left.

State starts to drive again, and run the ball and the clock out. Brent Smith tacks on a 39 yard FG. MSU 44 UM 31 six minutes left.

Ole Miss goes to hurry up. Tommy Kelly appears to have sacked Brent Sheaffer, but while Kelly was doing a sack dance, Sheaffer runs right by him, and is picked up by the heady TJ Mawhinney who is drug 40 yards to the end zone on a 41 yard TD run. Game is now MSU 44 UM 38 3 minutes left. Kellum soils himself again.

UM tries an onside kick and converts. Ole Miss radio finally borrows rectal tube from UMC for Kellum. Was later dubbed the play of the day for Ole Miss.

Rebels, now with the ball, Brent Sheaffer is under center, he checks the line, reads the MSU secondary and is in a trips right formation, drops back, avoids the hard charge of Tommy Kelly, looks around, has a man open, HAS A MAN OPEN HAS A MAN OPEN!!!AND IT'SKICKEDILLEGALLYNOFLAGBYDARRENWILLIAMS!!!!!!! and lands in the lap of Odell Bradley, who fell down on the play.

And Kevin Fant runs a QB draw and is injured on the play, but you can wrap this one IN MAROON AND WHITE! Mississippi State 44 Ole Miss 38.

3 AM on Sunday. Todd4State and his posse finally get home.
