After @Brian Hadad asked Lebby about why Arnett’s defense seemed to be so different last week, we saw a much more aggressive style defense Saturday night.

Arnett is a capable field marshal, but Hadad is the 17ng general
24 on the defense. 280 total yards. And the defense had to be gassed at some point. I was impressed even though I’m not sure if we were more aggressive or just got to the passer for once and had coverage in the right place.
7 gifted by the refs (as well as 2 taken away from us by the refs).
Defense was great. You have to field an offense to take some of the time available and provide a break. Our offense, and Texas' offense worked against us.

If we had kicked off to start the OU game and brought the defensive game plan we had for Texas, we'd have beat the Sooners.
Which sucks because it was obvious to most of us before the OU game, but as long as I don't see a Moorhead-ignores-the-Auburn-game style return to form, I'll take it as sign that maybe Lebby can continue to improve (disclaimer: I'm not a fan).
