So basically everything Republicans were stating as concerns and providing as opposition has come to fruition.

Yet, you had the rubes on the left who thought those mean ole Republicans just didn't want people to have healthcare. In the real world, the opposition was exactly for the reasons we have seen and lest we not forget, the worst parts won't even be in play until 2017. Great piece of legislation boys! You all know what's best for us!

When you sell a bill of goods based on pie in the sky figures can you guess that everyone is getting set up for disappointment?

If the Republicans had done something on health care in 2001-07 when they had the Presidency and Congress then Obama & Crew wouldn't have been in a position to do something on it when they got power because it would already have been addressed.

When there are only two parties and one party refuses to address a problem eventually the solution proposed by the other party is going to be enacted. A similar thing is going to happen eventually with a government response to climate change unless the Republicans start proposing what to do about it instead of denying it and letting all the proposals come from the Democrats.

One of our biggest expenditures, some years it is our biggest expenditure, and President Obama makes an attempt to reduce it, after Republicans did nothing for years, and instead of meeting the projection of 201 million people enrolled, we have 177 million people enrolled (88%), and those 24 million are paying "fines" for not being enrolled, and you guys want to piss and moan. Oh the outrage.

Where in the world did you get that messed up chart? Is "Health Care" meant to represent the Medi's? "Pensions" meant to represent SS? Is it total spending, discretionary?

Meanwhile our local hospital could be facing massive full time employee cuts.

Health Care is the next bubble to burst.

The one my wife works at was under stress, and she was having issues with her coworkers. I got her to get out and get into home health care. Pays a little less, but she's so much happier. And she beat the rush.

My wife did Home Health for years, but got worn out by some of the things she saw day in and day out. Fearing for her life type of stuff at times.

Hospitals are still losing money, even with the changes to CDI, and people just can't afford the outrageous costs that still exist.

Total spending. You doubt that healthcare totals about 28% of our total spending?

You're chart is wrong. Discretionary spending, which includes Defense spending is 31% of our federal spending. Defense is about half of that 31%.

Mandatory spending is 69%. Medicare and Medicaid is 42% of that, about 26% of the total spending.

Whoever put that chart together is misleading things and should clarify what type of spending is covered, and how they came to their conclusions.

So you agree that healthcare costs are the biggest expenditure we have in this country?

Do you agree the sky is blue?

Do you also agree that Obamacare has caused those costs to rise even more due to lack of participation, and adding on tons of Medicare enrollees?

Lack of participation? From 2013 to 2014, the percentage of people in the US on Medicaid went from 18% to 19% while the total uninsured went from 13% to 10%. Damn Obama.

So, no, I don't agree that rising health care costs are Obama's fault. Geez.
