It will be very shortly. That’s the way they work. They take little bites out of parental rights and when the opposition quiets, they take another bite. And this is with every issue, not just with minors and transitioning.
Just a few years ago, surgery to remove a minor’s genitalia or breasts under the misleading label of “gender affirming care”, even with parental consent, would have resulted in all of those involved being labeled as monsters, and rightly so.
So they couldn’t jump straight to passing such legislation. Instead, they re-label counseling as “Conversion Therapy” to make it sound like something sinister and experimental, and therefore justify banning it. Then they push legislation through to do just that so that confused kids who do not understand nor want such feelings cannot seek help, nor can parents seek help for their children where such bans are in effect.
Then they enable minors to undergo hormone therapy, of which the long term effects on developing bodies is not fully known, but it doesn’t look good.

California legislators say that minors can’t start hormone blockers without parents consent, but some watchdog groups say they can. Abigail Martinez’s case would indicate that the watchdog groups are the ones telling the truth on this.
Now California and other states are allowing minors to undergo permanent sex change surgery. So at a time when these kids are confused and depressed, they are allowing them to make the decision to give up their ability to have sexual intimacy for the rest of their lives, and for women to bond with their newborn baby through breastfeeding, and go on medications that they will have to take for the rest of their lives, all before they have ANY clue as to what they are permanently giving up and will have to endure. And parents are put under extreme pressure to consent to it.

The tragic case of Abigail Martinez’s child and the fact that the government can and will remove your child from you for transitioning should be horrifying to every parent, regardless of your views on transgenderism. If you think they will stop at taking children away from parents to enable their children to transition only with hormone blockers, you are mistaken.
This is from the US Department of Health and Human Services website under the title “Gender affirming care is Trauma Informed Care”:
“The decision for the child welfare system to become involved in the lives of families, potentially to the extent of removing children from their families and homes, should be wielded with the utmost care”
The fact that they suggest that such government power should be “wielded with the utmost care” is not very comforting, especially when you look at the case of Ms. Martinez.
The only thing that will stop California and other blue states from removing the need for parental consent for transition surgery is if the courts determine that it’s unconstitutional. But even if they do, you can bet that the monsters (particularly Scott Weiner) in the California legislature will do everything they can to get around it.

Under Trump’s direction, legislators from Republican controlled states would assign alternative electors that would override the election results and present their votes on behalf of Trump. Simultaneously, Trump called to duty fringe white-nationalist groups, who would interfere with the electoral college process to prevent the certification of the election for Biden.
The plan was foiled by Pence, who refused to recognize the alternative electors and proceeded with the ceremonial event as planned.
