About the way I figured. Originally thought LSU beating Alabama would mean both make it in. But Alabama schedule is weaker. If they use that against Clemeson then they need to do so against Bama. Now if Bama beats LSU and other things play out right then both Bama and LSU get in.

Personally I cheer for LSU over Bama. Tired of the same teams getting in every year.

Ohio State could argue they are the best team. But the playoffs will be better this year unless all hell breaks lose at the end of the year.

When you see scores like LSU 45- Texas38

vs Oklahoma 34–texas 27. How exactly does someone determine LSU should be in the top one or two, but OU ( because of one loss in a tougher schedule) is not in the conversation?

This is what is wrong with the playoff— its driven by what a network with certain contracts wants rather than who is best.

LSU vs Texas 1st game of the season.

OU vs Texas
1. It's a rivalry game
2. Texas was and still is playing with injuries. Oh wait, Bucky thinks those are excuses and don't apply. Maybe he thinks Texas coach should be fired.

Baylor 124 out 130 for OOC.

O$u has a cake walk every year it never hurts them. Herbie right now on tv with his eye test bull ****. First year. Tcu loses at #5 baylor O$u loses by 2 touchdowns at home in primetime to 6 win virginia tech and gets dominated in the process, had a MUCH weaker conference than the big 12.that year. And a worse showing in the only common opponent. But jumps 2 spots for no reason in the last rankings. ESPN runs the playoff. Period. Herbie and the goof from Bellaire that played receiver for them can talk the big ten up all day, the rest of the country knows it's a joke. Minnesota just gave their coach a 7 year extension for beating south Dakota state by 3 lmao, standards baby!! The big 10 plays a team with a pulse they get embarrassed every time, then you get years like.this, beat buffalo and ball state and you're in the playoff. Realignment didnt kill college football, ESPN did, and continues to and couldnt give a f@#$ less. Hell army proved they are a better football team than michigan, and how about #14 preseason michigan rape your student state?

Big 10 football is good for 3 things being overrated, putting you to sleep, and raping people, and that's it

No respect for either.

Baylor OOC schedule ranked 124 out of 130 with a opponent record of 4-22. Minnesota has beaten who?

Baylor at least has claim to have beaten 2 ranked team in KSU and OSU. Should have bee more like

Baylor 10th
Minnesota 11th

Florida and Auburn should not be 10 and 11.

ESPN says the defending champs aren't in because their best win is Texas A%M, so I guess your best wins being over a team that couldnt beat ILLINOIS and a team that lost to Colorado who lost to Oregon what like 72-3? Is a strong showing and makes you #1. Much better than at Texas and Auburn and crappy games like that.wjatever narrative that network needs to spin to protect o$u and the little 10. I mean it's the same network that let josina anderson back Antonio Brown for a month get the first middle and last 2 thoughts in on every conversation which ALWAYS defended him threw the white gm under the bus and dismissed his racist rant as absolutely no big deal at all, so what else would you expect. ESPN owned by abc right? Newest people to protect harvy Weinstein? Just a quality network all around unbiased and straight shooting especially Herbie and Galloway and the network definitely does not interfere with the playoff AT ALL

For that matter, LSU has beaten 3, that's THREE top ten teams this year one on the road. They beat Georgia southern by like 52. Minnesota beat them by THREE but Penn state will get credit for an AMAZING win for beating minnesota. Lsu also won by like 51 over northwestern st, it's just didnt get primetime coverage and called huge statement making worldbeating victory like when o$u did it to 1 win northwestern. So tell me. O$u is #1 in the rankings for what.reason OTHER than ESPNs influence?

Idaho, buffalo, pitt, Florida Atlantic, miami ohio, Cincinnati. Georigia southern. South dakota state, Fresno st. South florida Central michigan. Kent state. The ooc opponents of the top big 10 teams, and for the most part, not even impressive in victory except one team

@texas, northwestern state, get. Southern by 52 not 3. Duke, new mexico st. So. Miss., murray st, Notre dame, @ georgia tech. Miami Florida, Oregon. Tulane. Kent st. Then ooc games of top sec teams plus much much much tougher conference games. But sure, o$u #1 and state penn #4

you sure are awfully mad, over the INITIAL CFP poll. check out this attachment, which shows the Sagarin ratings, as well as the SOS rankings of each team. Also, it shows the conference rankings as well. In case you have trouble opening the file, or interpreting the file, it ranks Ohio State #1, Penn State #5, Wisconsin #8, and Michigan #10. It also shows Ohio State as playing the toughest schedule of any of the major contenders (with the exception of Auburn). It also shows the B1G East as the 2nd highest rated conference in the land, trailing only the SEC West by a slim margin.

So shPitt played the Number 4 team pretty much EVEN on the Number 4 team’s Home field?

Does that mean ShPitt is a Playoff caliber team? Yet shPitt is only 3-2 in its own conference???

Pitt apparently has a decent football team, and one that is competing for their division within the ACC. Pitt is bowl bound, so I can understand your frustration, knowing that Pitt is a program that seems to be on the rise.

Just admit that you're insanely jealous of the B1G, and move along with your incoherent rants. Oklahoma has been chosen for the CFP over a 12-1 (ultimately 13-1) Ohio State team in each of the past two seasons, and Herbstreit begged the CFP Committee to invite non-conference champion Georgia instead of Ohio State last season. You don't have a clue.

Lmao love when I dont even need to read the posts, just the alerts, who they are amd which topics. O$upoop and michiturd, I'm gonna guess telling me how good the big 10, and beating 3 of the worst teams in the country by 13 total points makes you a big time opponent. How not playing a single power 5 team non conference and 1 team with a pulse in conference makes you #1 over a team with 3 top 10 wins including one on the road ooc. And it's all legit and espn and Herbie and Galloway are all impartial and the network has zero control over anything, they dont even have any money. Lmao. The big 10 has accomplished 1 thing in football, destroying the MAC. That's it

There's a reason the first thing from Herbie's penis loving mouth non stop this week was eye test, and not on the field opponents. Just like year one it was conf. Championship game. Because there is absolutely ZERO argument for ANY big 10 team to be in the playoff right now, let alone 2 and let alone his precious Buckeyes #1. All they have as an argument is beating each other. There is zero well this team beat this team in conference who beat this team ooc. None. Illinois lost to eastern michigan so o$u beating Wisconsin who couldnt beat the team that JUST lost to EASTERN MICHIGAN, means nothing. Michigan is a worse football team than army, it was proven and they needed a gift. Indiana is a 3rd place team their best win is eastern illinois. It's a joke. What they gonna say about penn state's HUGE one score win over pitt when clemson beats them by 70? I'm sure Herbie has an "eye test" speech ready to go
