Miles, broke the record in the 40th game she played, the same # CC played in her rookie season, so people think it is essentially an apples to apples comparison, BUT...Miles missed 2 games during the season so yes, the elongated season allowed her to be in a position to do so.

All of the season and career total records are going to get shattered by this new wave of players...especially when they go to 50 games next season.

Just think what CC's career assist #s will look like when she is done playing compared to current leaders.

That said, there is also a notion that the greatest ability in sports is availability. It seems to me there are so many really good players who miss significant PT every year that if you start parsing every record for games played there'd be no end to it. But as you mention, as the seasons keep getting longer it's all is pretty much irrelevant anyway. No biggie.

In the NBA and other Pro Sports, "Availability" is extremely important in trade discussions as well.

I kinda like Juju. I remember her and Coach Gottlieb came out and sat during something...not remembering exactly what it was...Caitlin getting recognized or an award given and asked CC to advise them on what Juju was going to deal with and how to handle different things...seemed like a respectful young player.

I guess Hull will be on Miles (?) for a good portion, or at least until Lexie fouls out. Look for 10+ FTs for Miles. Someone needs to ride Miles up and down the floor, we know that scrambles her brain. Lexie, otoh, appears to only bump a player when they gather to shoot. It usually seems like minimal contact too, but when you play clean, clean, clean and then make a little contact that also seems to scramble brains, of the refs in this case.

Wished the games were reversed, it seems like an "easier" task to steal one in Minny and then hold at home rather than the other way, this way, around. Oh well!

Didn't see backdoor cuts and all of the fun stuff that makes the fever's offense so dangerous. As others have pointed out, defense was horrible with rotations and giving help. It was enough for Caitlin to have her outburst.

CC critiquing others defense is kind of laughable considering her own defensive deficiencies.
