Legend is celebrating that his girl Aja is moving on.
Last year I enjoyed the Aces winning as much as I would have the Fever because Vegas had Megan and Kiah.
Not so much this year.
Legend is celebrating that his girl Aja is moving on.
CC hit a three with 9 minutes left in the second quarter..... and then I don't think ever made another shot in the game, which is pretty unbelievable.
Yeah, she did hit one more shot very late. Obviously, not nearly enough production, though.I don't think that is accurate. Didn't CC have a layup late in the 3rd/early 4th?
She made a shot toward the end of the game.CC hit a three with 9 minutes left in the second quarter..... and then I don't think ever made another shot in the game, which is pretty unbelievable.
Ok, it appears she did hit another shot, but I can't delete the post. Still, the Fever just needed more from her. Bummer end to the season.
I’m celebrating that I put Legend on ignore and don’t have to see his posts anymore. I very rarely do that to anyone, but can’t stand posters that don’t live in the real world and then quadruple down in their idiocy.Legend is celebrating that his girl Aja is moving on.
Not enough production from Clark and Mitch tonight.
The amount of contact cc is forced to endure as a guard with no calls versus what ticky tack crap Wilson gets calls for is just amazing.
She's pretty good.
She's certainly the MVP of the league and she showed in throughout the series. She's pretty good.

The Aces got 35 attempts, the Fever got 20…you’re not beating too many teams with that kind of differential.Looking at the stats, the teams made 30 and 29 FGs, 9 and 8 3pt FGs, had the same number of TOs and pts off TOs. The only real difference is the Aces made 28 FTs while the Fever made 14.
Yep. She came out in the first with the kind of juice she had last game, and then it went away after that. I don't know if she was under the weather, or just not her night but she just didn't have that oommppff we saw the other night. And then Mitchell goes 6-18 or whatever and they have no shot on the road.Meanwhile, CC still doesn't have a FG since the first quarter. Hell, she has barely shot the ball.
Has not shot well, and not the same juice (or fight) since early on. Still it would help those assists (all 4 in the first Q) if someone could make a shot. Wilson has them all intimidated in the lane.CC is 5-16 tonight. Hasn't made a single shot since early in the game.
Also only 4 assists but 6 TOs. Just picked a bad night to play poorly.
CC and KM can be so good, but after a very promising first 5 minutes they both just didn't have it and petered out. If just one of them stayed hot, the Fever win. Major bummer.Yep. She came out in the first with the kind of juice she had last game, and then it went away after that. I don't know if she was under the weather, or just not her night but she just didn't have that oommppff we saw the other night. The foul on Mitchell when Gray mugged her from behind, and the one late where Wilson was dribbling up to half court and she tripped and fell into Boston's legs, (foul on Boston who never got near her until Wilson fell into her), just more examples of the lunacy of WNBA officiating. We knew going in that the Fever would have to be a head by 12-14 points to overcome the lopsided calls for the Aces. Nothing surprising at all. That doesn't get into the foul on Hull in the first have where the Aces players hooked Hulls arm and pulled her to the floor on top of her. Foul on Hull. Lololol.. Its literally like watching the globetrotters or banana ball the officiating nonsense. The amount of contact cc is forced to endure as a guard with no calls versus what ticky tack crap Wilson gets calls for is just amazing.
Mitchell gets mauled, foul on Mitchell. This is SO hard to watch, and take this seriously......We blew the call, but at least we didn’t upgrade it.
That's the big issue. If they don't get a super game from both Clark and Mitchell every game, they aren't beating any of the top teams. Hull 0, Timpson 4(didn't play in the 2nd half)? Billings 0, RJ 2, Sophie 5. Hines Allen with 12 was the only non starter who contributed at all. Its the big three score 70 points or go home. When you shoot just 38% from the field as a team it is really difficult to win games.
The 6 missed FTs and numerous missed bunnies were killers.
Same discrepancy in attempts in all the games. Actually the other two were more lopsided for the AcesLooking at the stats, the teams made 30 and 29 FGs, 9 and 8 3pt FGs, had the same number of TOs and pts off TOs. The only real difference is the Aces made 28 FTs while the Fever made 14.
In all three games. The Aces got 35 attempts, the Fever got 20…you’re not beating too many teams with that kind of differential.
I think it was closer than that when Mitchell rebounded her own miss and then Gray mugged her from behind, foul on Mitchell, and Gray shoots free throws. The "phantom" foul late in the game by Boston on Wilson (fell down dribbling up the court) was critical. Wilson's free throws extended the lead to six.
Fever simply cannot afford to have Kelsey and Caitlin struggle shooting on the same night, That said the phantom foul call on AB with fever down 4 with 46 seconds left was just a killer.
