CCC Defense Rankings

Defense wins championships and this years race is still up for grabs. How would y’all rank this years CCC teams in terms of best defenses?
My list would be
1.Salisbury
2. Ledford
3. Oak Grove
4. Thomasville
5. North Davidson
6. West Davidson
7. Central Davidson
8. East Davidson
9. South Rowan
10. Lexington

This is a combination of opinion and stats

1. Salisbury 7.6 ppg, clearly the best D in the CCC

2. Ledford 10.4 ppg, gave up 24 to 4A Glenn

3. Oak Grove 9.1 ppg, defense is good, almost up there with the top 2.

4. Thomasville 19.4 ppg, better at covering receivers and the flanks than a grind it out power offense.

5. North Davidson 21.2 ppg, gave up 66 to 4A Davie and 3A Parkland

6. West Davidson 21 ppg

7. Central Davidson 20.8 ppg, offense is an extension of their defense. When they grind it really helps their D. Gave up points to two bad 1A schools.

8. East Davidson 28 ppg

9. Lexington 28.2 ppg

10. South Rowan 40.6 ppg, wow.

East Davidson's run defense is good but their pass defense needs a lot of work. Looking forward to the JV team moving up next year. They are having a solid season and should be fun to watch.
