I saw where the Lexington vs West Davidson game was moved to Thursday and also the East at Ledford game as well. Any other games been moved?

Thomasville at Oak Grove is Thursday also. Middle school/JV doubleheader Wednesday.
North Davidson and Salisbury has been moved to Thursday night at 7:30.

Finally our offense seems to be getting better and it couldn’t have come at a better time than right here near the playoffs!
Heard ND won 49-13 giving up 2 late scores.
Ledford won 53-0 so winner takes all next Friday night for CCC.

Impressed with Thomasville and the direction the new coach has them. Night and day compared to last year with what appears to be very similar talent. They play good, disciplined football. Not flashy, but a good, solid team. I’d expect thomasville to be pretty darn good in a few years again. Only concern is lack of depth as numbers are low from a roster standpoint but that seems to be pretty common with everybody. Dwindling roster sizes in high school football is very real.
I don’t think Oak Grove is better than Thomasville but I saw them play earlier in the year and they just played lazy, uninspired football tonight. It definitely wasn’t their best. I expected a better game but thomasville brought it, Oak Groce did not. A couple early turnovers and terrible play calling once they crossed midfield stalled a few drives in first half and then it just snowballed for them.
I’m hopeful that the numbers will increase next year. Quite a few kids who didn’t come out, but played last year. My conjecture is that Coach Robertson’s no nonsense style scared them off. But there’s something about winning that is contagious. We have only won this many games one other time in the past seven years. We’ll see how it pans out, but Coach has us on the right path and is doing it the right way.
One of the playoff projections has Oak Grove being one of the last four teams in. I know that they set a goal to make the playoffs in year one, but as many kids as they have injured, getting throttled by Reidsville in the first round may not be in their best interest.
You guys should be very optimistic. I saw some glimpses of the thomasville teams of old.
That’s silly talk. It would be a huge feat for that program to make the playoffs in year 1 regardless of who they run out there in round 1.
Cautiously optimistic. It was just 2015 when we were 9-4. But we saw how quickly the wheels can fall off. Fortunately, this time we have a coach who can build on the momentum and take charge of his program.
It would be pretty cool to say that a high school is playoff worthy in year one. That can’t happen all that often, even with the fact that most teams make it in each year.
They’d just need to wear their dark pants. Because Oak Grove is down past their 3rd string quarterback right now and have several key kids who won’t be back this season due to broken bones.
The dark pants will help conceal the 14 year olds’ terror from being pulled up to the varsity.
