So is Benet the only CCL school that going to have a new head coach next year? I've only heard of one other possible departure and I don't consider the source very credible.
So MC will play Naz, PC, JCA and Pats? Is ESL locked in week 1? Are they looking out of State again for week 2? I heard SR declined week 2, nothing more then a bar stool rumor so don't take it as gospel, but the rivalry has been heavily one sided and maybe SR didn't want to risk the 5 win mark. Again, rumor only.
Also I think Iggy is going to have just a hard time in the Orange as they did in the blue with PC, Carmel and Fenwick.

Not seeing Franny listed on the open dates page for weeks 1 and 2. Did they already book a CPS team for week 1 possibly? Or maybe they just aren't putting their open dates online.
That I do not know. I pulled this from their school site, it is new in the past few days.
My week 1 opinion is CPS and week 2 ESL from past two years....JMO.

SF looks to have a touch schedule next fall.
Really wish the league would consider 5 team divisions. Could create for some fun pairings. I know logistical issues would prevent it and the 4 team divisions have been working great for playoff purposes. But it would be nice to get some more continuity or permanence in scheduling where at least 3-4 of your opponents stay essentially the same over a half decade or decade stretch.

I hope the AD doesn't require them to get on a bus for six hours and play in 90 degree weather again for a first game
Game was at Rita this year. Two years in a row? I am assuming then Rita will be playing at Nazareth. Who knows about Bronco?
When they re-do divisions it gets weird like that.

At Montini for SR. Tough game. Is it fair to say Montini is the very, very, very early pre-season favorite? I type that because they do have some players coming back, and that stud QB.
I think that is fair though they are stepping it up with their CCL schedule. Get a break with Marist though as their blue crossover.
2-4 I really have a hard time with predicting.

I agree. Teams 2-4, at this early point for me, could go either way. Very close games. Even with Montini, unless they establish themselves early, the games should be all close. Parity at this point for me.
Potentially, every game in the Green could be all within 3 points.
Witty - hearing Rita not playing Marist, Rice or MC in 2026 - is that true? Possibly Laurence? If not then who on the southside are they playing?
I think Larry is all booked up as poster OnVikings! mentioned. I would like that matchup with old rivals.
I knew BR/MC was a probable no-go. I thought Marist, but that looks like a no-go as well.
This is just me guessing: pay a CPS school for Week 1, and maybe Oak Forest, LWC or LWW during Week 2.

All.... Has Montini officially filled their w1 and w2 non cons. Lumen Christi showing only seven games on their schedule so far for 2026. Was that a two year contract? The Titans went 11-3 last year with one of those losses to the Broncos. Ratsy

Wonder if they try and scale back week 2 or go after Rita. My guess is lower division CCL won't be jumping at the chance to play them.
7A gives room to disregard losses more so than 8A. Ask Loyola.

All.... LC is only showing seven games scheduled. The first of those seven on 9-11. With the season starting on 8-21 in Illinois not sure if the two schools could sync a game for w1 or w2. Ratsy
