Centennial 43 Mater Dei 36

The Centennial Huskies, out of Corona, California, defeated Mater Dei 43-36. This win snapped a 21 game winning streak for Mater Dei. This was also the first time since 2015 that Mater Dei lost to someone not named St. John Bosco.

The Huskies led 28-0 after one quarter, and 33-7 at the half. Mater Dei came back and took the lead in the third quarter 36-33 before Centennial scored 10 in the fourth quarter to seal the game.

I'm not totally stunned by this result after watching Mater Dei play St Thomas Aquinas (FL) a few weeks ago.

The final score was 26-23 in that one won by Mater Dei.
