Funny the ones that were wanting more teams in the playoffs or want 16 teams are all crying that these games are any fun to watch

This is more proof that there are too many teams in a college football playoff.
I wholeheartedly agree with you that are three loss team shouldn't get in. That will just dilute the regular season.
Plus, this conference champion automatic bid crap is more about justifying a team with a great record (in a ****** conference) getting an invite.
Retract to eight. The eight best teams. That is plenty. If you're a Big 12, ACC, or any other team from a second rate conference, make sure you are playing tough non-conference schedule.
They're effing it all up by getting cute and trying to include the feel good story of a few Cinderella's having a chance at making a run in a playoff. This isn't college basketball.
It was much like a NU 28 sCUm 10 final score. Indiana was never in that game.
My problem has more to do with a large amount of the fan base willing to turn a blind eye to all of it. Simply to defend their beloved JoePa.
As an Eagles fan, I've flown out to quite a few home games. While many I have met out there DO denounce it, there is still an alarming number that believe Pedo St. got the shaft. Because of them, F that fan base.
Why do people hate that the playoffs have expanded to 12 teams but no one complains about March Madness?

Probably because when a team is getting ****-stomped by 40 points in the basketball tournament, there are five other games you can switch to.

Put it to you this way for every one football game played they play three basketball games, it’s much more physical playing football, much more game planning for a football game.
There’s 362 Division 1 basketball teams. 132 FBS football teams.

Everybody has gotten so used to the tournament though, so it would be hard to rip away.

Basketball can be absolutely dominated by a player or two.
Football? Hard to run a one to two man show and win it all.
