Based on these first round games, 8 team
Playoff is enough. Drop the conference champion AQs.
Seeds 9-12 have proven to be pathetic.

See...I would rather see 16 teams.

Either seed 1-8 on one side and 1-8 on the other OR 1-4 with 4 quardrants.

Just like March Madness, the "better" teams will win most of the time, no doubt. But it only takes one lazy ***** who lost her show Cinderella to change it all.

It’s a money grab, 4 extra games equals a lot of $$$
I mean, sure it is a money grab, but a one and done format is also what we love.

Look, no one remembers the 1 seeds that beat 16 seeds in MM...BUT we all remember UVA getting beat...

We LOVE those games.

Wow, Seeing tenn give up with 14 minutes left is kind of funny. They clearly just want to go home. And their QB is clearly concussed.

OSU ceiling is higher than anyone else in the field. But will they lay an egg? Probably one of these weeks

Football is not basketball in which a dude can get hot and win a game or two.

Patrick Mahomes was the starting QB at a barely above .500 team at Texas Tech. Football is a 50+ man effort with 22 starters and at least 40 that can play on any snap.

This new age of the college football playoff requires you to beat at least 3 high level football teams in a row. You aren't going to be able to fake it through this tournament.

Well, you can only compare it to high school and NFL.

So has there ever been a HS team that got hot or a NFL team that got hot?

Like, for instance, did the NY Giants ever beat a double digit fav Patriot team to win it all?

Did any non 1 seeds win it all in MM recently? Like, has that happened recently?

The tenn Qb is CLEARLY concussed OR clearly has never seen a defense before.

Any why are you punting when you are down 32 with 7 minutes left?????

My god, what a bunch of virgins

0 for 4 on good games. That sucks. Hopefully the quarters have some great games. That OSU-Oregon game looks great to me.

SEC fanboys sleep alone tonight. B1G is also gay. Go back to cheering for your team and not some lame *** conference

Out of curiosity does any know the financial implications fpr a team being in the playoffs? Does the team in the playoffs get to keep all the money or does it go to the conference to be shared? How much money is involved?

It’s teeny tiny

Like $15M per qualifier split evenly by the conferences

Rounding error for B1G/SEC

By this logic we don’t even need a championship game considering the last 6 national championship games have all been blowouts!!! The amount of stupid on this board is awesome! Hahahaha

Final 4
OSU or Oregon
Penn St
Texas
Notre Dame

Edit…
Possibly none of the 4 bye teams to the final 4. Two because ASU and Boise should not have had byes. One because Georgia QB situation and ND is pretty good. One because OSU won’t be easy for Oregon.

Nice attempt to deflect from the reality. It only further confirms what I’ve said. It’s ok to seek help. It can help you to grow to not be a coward.
Again deflecting from what? Hahaha you had a bad take! It’s okay you’re not the only one. Personal attacks on a message board are hilarious!

Maybe I’m crazy but I think Beck going down for UGA is the best thing that could’ve happened to them
