Doesn't help that they look down a state and see Texas Tech in the top 15 and tearing it up.Not unexpected. The team had tanked. Might have lost respect of the players.

What is the Gundy story? I thought they had Pickens money to blow like Oregon who has Knight money to spend.
Yeah - I am kind of a bad person sometimes.Ouch! You just pulled the scab off of the PSU wound from several years ago.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly that.Ouch! You just pulled the scab off of the PSU wound from several years ago.
T. Boone left $120 million to Ok State but none of it was allotted to NIL recruiting (probably wasn't even a consideration when he was making his last Last Will). What is the Gundy story? I thought they had Pickens money to blow like Oregon who has Knight money to spend.
Texas Tech may have spent more NIL money than any other program in the nation this off season.Doesn't help that they look down a state and see Texas Tech in the top 15 and tearing it up.
I doubt they ever see the success they had with Gundy again.
Nothing makes a fanboy moist between the legs more than a good coach firing. Now, If Ok State has any good players the portal is open. But they deserve better.

I want to go on record as saying that never once have I been “wet between the legs.” Just for the record, you understand. Carry on.Nothing makes a fanboy moist between the legs more than a good coach firing. Now, If Ok State has any good players the portal is open.
Poor Gundy… he has to suffer with a $15 million dollar buyout to not go to work! But they deserve better.
He has plenty of money to get that Billy Ray Cyrus hairdo cut now.Poor Gundy… he has to suffer with a $15 million dollar buyout to not go to work!
I asked this question a year or two ago. Belichick is a really good coach. Is he really one of the greatest? Look at his record without Tom Brady.
Yeah, and bring in Braun from NW.Franklin to Chapel Hill?

It's only recruiting. NW is a destination school.Yeah, and bring in Braun from NW.
The NW OL has been outstanding.
How is that possible?
Magic?
Could it be coaching?
Netflix cancelled the planned documentary too. Absolute dumpster fire.
The old "vote of confidence". That means he better win a few more games this year.
It's crazy ... all kinds of rumors. Now rumors that many of his assistant coaches are already talking to other programs for jobs and about leaving at the end of the year. I am sure UNC never expected this chaos around the program, were expecting an anchor for their program. This is quickly turning into a complete dumpster fire at UNC.The old "vote of confidence". I never understood the hiring of Belichick. Sure the name recognition but nothing outside of it. He, at best would be a place holder until they got someone that they thought would be there awhile. I mean the guy is 73, has zero college coaching experience. Was floundering his last few years in New England, no NFL teams wanted him and seems to have the personality of paste. There has to be at least 5 younger up and comers that would have been better. When they got rid of Mack Brown they talked about finding someone younger to (hopefully) build the program, insert some excitement and energy. Which is what they need. Mack, I think is 74 so technically they got a younger guy. But I think they set the program back even more by hiring Belichick. It's like putting the the original cast of the Brady Bunch in a half hour prime time slot to win back ratings. It's just a bad idea. It's crazy ... all kinds of rumors. I agree totally. He caught lightning in a bottle with Brady. He was always at best a .500 coach without Brady. He is a better DC than HC. There still a lot of questions of his super bowl wins how they won them. (Ask Eagles players) He is awnry and not the easiest person to deal with. Right now I am sure UNC would be happy if he walked away at the end of the season. Coaches aren't going to hold back either on him, they have a chance to bury him and run up the score they will.I never understood the hiring of Belichick. They need to kick him to the curb and pick up one of these coaches that have come available that has potential.
UNC might not have been expecting it but there were a lot of posters on this board who did, especially after that disastrous interview and his pole dancing girlfriend. It's crazy ... all kinds of rumors. +1. But it's not like UNC didn't know what they were getting on the Personality front with him. Just a weird hire and UNC would be really smart to stay away from his son.I agree totally.
